SteelRain 0 Posted August 17, 2010 One thing because quickly appearant to me (and BikeSlut and PastPilot) yesterday at Big Bear: The need for a local expert. Now I know GPS is never an expert, but it helps when you have two skilled riders and one semis-killed rider looking for trails. Maps are nice but give very little info on the actual trail. For me, a GPS track is golden, but the really nice when it is done like the Corral Canyon set. Does anything like that even exist at this time? If so, can somebody point me to it? Knowing what is green, blue, black or even fire roude goes a long way in determining where you are headed... and the planning a ride on a laptop can be quick and easy. Thanks!
