bluefin2na 0 Posted July 20, 2009 Left point loma at 9:00 rode through RB left there at 10:00 and to the 67 and hit hwy 8 east, Blasted out to buckman springs for a bar b que, yeah i know, who plans a bar b que in campo in july?? got to the que at 11:10 and left at 12:30, rode down to the 94, baking my head off, Oh did i mention my girlfriend on the back? Yeah she wanted to go for a long ride to see if she liked DS biking. . took alittle ride through CC then out backman again down the 94 to barrett cafe, out to lion valley, over to alpine, and down the 8west to point loma, she said to go get my truck. 190 miles most of which was 2 up, hot hot hot,, hydro pack was her friend. my MPG went from 195 to 147 riding 2 up, it went down like my relationship did. bikeslut 1 Posted July 20, 2009 You need to assure her that the back of a KLR in 100+ temps is NOT what it is really like... When it cools down, take her out 94, to honey springs, to 79 into PV.
