Camping at OW for the first time Apr. 10-11-12 and good riding

We usually find it just too easy to drop down from Descanso to Plaster City for our local desert getaway's, but decided to go try OW for a change. I made a rookie mistake right off the bat camping just a little under a 100 yds. from what turned out to be the rowdiest camp in the valley. A little hazing for the new comer I figured.

The party raged with (what's with white guys and hard RAP music) til' about midnight. Sooooo, next morning we fired up our generators about 6:30 am, packed up our camp and moved about a 1/4 mile away...braaapppp!! Problem solved.

The rest of the weekend went great. Covered 80 mi. on Sat., all over OW, and up and back to Borrego Spr. (Carley's) for lunch.

My grandson decided he wants to be 'motorcycle boy'. My new riding partner soon I understand.

Sunday we got in about 50 mi. doing Shell Reef, Pumpkin Patch, Truckhaven and back. Fun times, the Husky TE310 rocks out there.
