Guest Crusty Posted January 22, 2014 We booked a beach condo, here.http://www.casagrand...irst_level.html Going with 2 other couples that don't ride. It would be fun to ride with others, or come by to party.
Bubbagums 42 Posted January 22, 2014 Can't make the February 30 date but we will be down to watch the race. Most likely camping on the course, lots of beer, tacos and things that go boom. No bikes going. See you at contingency. Bob

Bubbagums 42 Posted January 23, 2014 Liked the second video. Good stuff but there is nothing like watching the trophy trucks in person. If you haven't seen them in action San Felipe is a great venue. A large portion of the course is easily accessible and free. If anyone is interested caravanning down let me know. We usually head down Friday morning (5 hour drive) to contingency/party in San Felipe on the malecon. Beer is $2.50 and tacos are around a buck. (You can bring your own beer) Lots of restaurants and bars to pop in and out of. We usually make our way to a camp site around dark loaded with beer, food and fireworks. We camp right next to the course and by morning the place usually fills in with locals and race fans. First bike past is around 7 am and first truck is around 10 or 11. We watch most of the classes and head for home Saturday around 1 pm. Depending on wait time in Mexicali we get home around 7.
