This will be our annual Christmas party… with free eats! Our special guest speaker this month will be Daphne Greene, State Parks Deputy Director and head of the Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division. Don’t miss it! 2. Don’t forget the SDORC Poker Run this Saturday, December 3. The event starts and ends at the orange SDORC trailer on Main Street in the Ocotillo Wells SVRA. SDORC is in the process of renewing its membership in the AMA, and we need names, addresses and AMA numbers of our members who are also AMA members. Just a reminder: As of this moment, Judge Illston has still not issued her decision regarding the lawsuit on the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area Management Plan. That management plan would open the closed areas in the dunes. But until and unless we receive a favorable ruling from the judge the “temporary” closures remain in effect!
