Plan to direct north up Arroyo Diablo to Sandstone Canyon, Hapaha Flats, Pinyon Canyon to bottom of the Drop. Reverse direction and re-wind south. Intermediate Skills rating, Un-relenting slow sand turns, a couple of drops and climbs. Bring tools, tubes, water and snacks. No food or fuel on route. 75 plus miles. This ride is totally inside the Anza Borrego Desert State Park. Which means: Park on clear non-vegetated ground on or immediately adjacent to roadway, Plates, mirrors And DOT Treads.
