GOOD NEWS FOR US AND OUR RIDING CAUSE:

"Two CORVA board members were selected for the BLM Desert Advisory Committee (DAC) subgroup!

The BLM Desert Advisory Committee has formed a subgroup dedicated to working with the agency to preserve motorized and competitive events in the desert areas of California as the public permit process is reconfigured. Special Recreation Permits (SRP) are authorizations which allow specified recreational uses of the public lands. More information can be found here:

In an acknowledgment of CORVA's expertise with these issues, two of the six representatives chosen for the subgroup are members of the CORVA Board of Directors - Clayton Miller, Southern Director of CORVA, and Wayne Nosala, Assistant Southern Director, known for his longtime involvement with desert truck racing.

The California Off-Road Vehicle Association has been working for over 40 years as a political advocacy association dedicated to keeping public land open to the public. Now CORVA is working with the BLM, standing strong to ensure motorized events continue in the desert for many years to come.

“Dedicated to protecting our lands for the people, not from the people.”
