Joliet 0 Posted March 30, 2007 What is the advantage of me having a green sticker and a plate on my bike. When I bought the bike it came with both. Should I keep the green sticker or let it expire? Does it allow me to ride in extra places my plate doesn't, if so where? How many of you guys have green stickers on your dual sport? Ken

The plate is a upgrade from green/red sticker. I have both on mine and plan to keep it that way. If I'm riding in a green sticker area were I don't need the plate or for racing I take off the plate and blinkers that way I'm less likely to brake them off and spend money on repairs. Also, I believe with the plate only the Rangers can make sure you are really street legal (blinkers, brake lights, etc) and if not give you a ticket. I haven't heard about them doing that much but why chance it.
