FInding forgotten overgrown roads these days. Fun to revive old routes.

Found yet another neat abandoned Jeep trail yesterday. Saw a spot that I thought it might come out at just off the highway. Last night I followed it from the trailhead on out and it does connect with the highway at the spot I saw.

Gettin' around that time of year when it's time to start planning the annual Troy Meadows Experience. Missed it the last two years. Can't wait to go this year. Woo hoo!

I never thought the day would come when I would want this wet, wintery weather to go away, but it did.

In the middle of a restoration of Fugly The KDX. Got it to run on Monday, but don't like the jetting I found in it. Too lean. Bike doesn't want to stay idling. Fixed needle, saw that the slide was machined to a leaner cut, pilot jet too small. Ordered a richer pilot. Starting at the back of the bike, new brake shoes, a wheel bearing, rebuild shock and working my way to the front of the bike bit by bit.

Jeep's transmission stopped transmishing today. :0(
