During the last night ride Joliet and I discussed the possibility of a large purchase of HID lights. By doing so we would recieve a quanity discount, and natually sell them to club members at my cost. Before I spend the time and effort on this however I need to know how many would be serious about a purchase like this? If there is enough interest I will get specifics as to what types, and styles of lights are available. Just lookin at this point for a rough number of interested people? Please respond only if you are truly interested. I should plan on talking to my Mfg. Rep. by Monday or Tuesday of next week. thanks Bob

The other night Troys light sure seemed bright compared to alot of the others. He followed me for awhile on the 94 home, when he got behind me my light would disapear in his beam. If he turned and I had to rely on my beam it got scarry. I out ride my beam at about 60. If I had his light I wouldnt be in the market for anything brighter.

Be prepaired with your bike, that means 2 shifters and a tube of J.B. Kwik for you! Bring your willingness to try, like the last ride, and third EXPECT to have one of the most awesome nights that you can have on a motorcycle. Its alot of fun. So are you in?

Ive never rode with the helmet light. People that Ive talked to that have them say they like them as an aux. light, but a good bike light is the best first choice for the first purchase? How do you feel about that John? Could you live wiith the helmet light only?

I was gunna offer a burger and fries at the next night ride, but its further away than 2 weeks so never mind.

Just happened to be up when the computer flashed that its your b-day. Have a great one, and enjoy it. They seem to gain speed every year. You get to my age and you wish you had a six speed instead of just five.

Thanks Chief, Ride Orange's instincts were right on as far as this post goes. Its toast! It went south real quick here, largely due to my quickened anger. I apologize for that. I am in the process of contacting the mod of this section to have it removed from all of our sight. I to, and many others feel about this forum as strongly as you. And the commitment to change for the better is proof of that. We will get out this weekend and do some more poking around for another night trek. Ive got an idea for a route that in my opinion would be awesome. You Know, one of those Secret trails only us old native San Diegans know about. It might be time to share it with our close night time rider friends, We will see. And yes its legal! I will repost this thread in a couple of days after we are sure things have calmed a bit. Craig, I cant speak for anyone except myself here. Ive been riding your @ss for about 3 days now for one reason, and only one reason. You walk on other peoples threads! We all know how you ride, we all know what you want, we all know that this club has different skill levels. If you want to post any kind of ride as long as its within the club rules its cool with me. Its when you step on other peoples threads that I get pissed off. It is an open forum WITH RULES, maybe you get that, maybe you dont? Ive been banging on you pretty hard here lately. Often times acting like a grade school thug, but only in hopes that you might see how annoying it is to have your thread messed with. By you posting this thread I think your starting to see whats going on. Ive never met you, who knows I might even like you? But when you dont respect others and their opinions then dont expect others to like you, or your opinions. If it really dosnt matter if your liked or not, well thats a whole different gig. Dude, dont walk on other people, and you and I wont have a problem here. Step on my friends and dont allow them to talk freely, then the games on! I hope this makes since to you? If not, and you have any questions PM me so we can get this stuff straight. If I dont hear from you I will presume you understand. Like you said; "We are not all alike. some want to ride, some want to B.S. You all know by now I want to ride. If this bothers you please dont bother reading my posts." It was great talking to you the other night! We will come up with something that works for ya, and get ya riding with us some how. Lot of good people with great ideas watching, now if we can get them to stop lurking and start posting. LOL were working on that problem right now.
