Kaiser Dr. Chung, Travel Lodge. He did two for my wife. Although she does not ride.

Love the Blue! There are time when a solo ride is just the ticket; a great time to think as well as sort the suspension.
That Big motor will chug around with minimal effort.

Thanks Zubb for the reply. Yes, Travel is the only reason. To have a big bike.
Ive done that, FJR, and tired of it. A truck plus a bike works well for me.

Hey Zubb
I get that those low jugs give the bike a low balance point, plus stop the bike from lying flat when down. What I can’t imagine is that the bike has the front geometry to handle correctly in sand or loose traction. I learned to ride the desert on a 990, but it was always unreliable at the front wheel. The front would just go away without warning. You are saying the front is reliable off-road and on the highway? Hard to believe.

Interesting Camp Gear review. Da, Rigger definitely gets the minimalist award. Are you warm blooded?
A Range of saddle bags has evolved. Once the Giant Loop horse shoe design was the way to go. Now we see racks and hanging bags. The racks I have seen weigh 12lbs. Do you two agree on the weight? In my opinion, a tent can be a life saver if it rains overnight.
Also, the team is sporting some nice travel jackets. That is another tough packing choice. You pretty much need to wear it the whole time. What do you think guys?
Thanks for the Fashion and Equipment show. 👀

They Painted the doors. I hope you didn’t have any trouble with all the Texans that hang out on the River deck.

PaulmB is right to shoot B&W images because those are about the only colors available even when the sun comes up.

Had the Good Fortune to meet up with McTrails and PMB for a casual 76 miles Inside the Park. Had lost track of McT since he went back to defending the Republic. Mimi mentioned she and he had been riding And; remembered he is now available during the week.
As it turned out, the drive was well worth the visit. Great to catch up with McT. Also it has been a few since I connected with the PMB as we have had roofers on the ,,, for 3 weeks.
As Oft stated, the desert floor is dry and soft, like forever. It takes a special group to drive up and knock it out. Thanks for the effort guys.

I remember giving up on that climb several years past. Can’t remember what bike I was on. That is my excuse. 😎
Thanks for for the info.

Thank You Randy. A clear statement like that goes a long way to getting people behind the effort.
I have enjoyed your travel reports from Mexico. Best of luck on your travels.

“But don’t stop now”
So we got through the Survival mode. Next Up, Where are we going? What are the priorities? What is the personality of this forum? Is it just about making money or is there a larger, dare I say mission?

The washes are soft and deep.

Well Chris,,, I am glad you are maintaining your typical sense of humor. ( the doll picture. ). None of us want to be That Guy; we think we have a work around to avoid that. It does change your perspective and that can be for the better. Confidence is a funny thing; we need it but it can bite you. Possibly it is not even about over reaching but as PMB said, it is just that hidden rock that gets you. That is part of the pride you feel every time you get back to the truck after successfully beating the challenge once again.

Here is a deal. You and me get a Honda Cub 125 and start our riding carrier over. But you already have one so it is up to me! Reset
