4 days of wondering in California
Bagstr replied to 97xr400r's topic in 4 Days & Longer Trip Write-Ups and Photos
97xr You could make a living doing this. 😎 -
You may have inadvertently changed something in settings on the device. Don’t plug it in and rummage around in the setting folder to go back to Default. Keep at. Take a rest, then keep at it.
-
What ah Whimp. Kug you are an example to us all. 👏 We thought about trying to find you, then realized we wouldn’t be able to keep up.

Try performing other operations that communicate between BC and the device. Try transferring waypoints back and force. That may clean up a broken link. Have you used Web Updater to update the device software? Be patient, it will clear up as you keep at it.

Rumor https://advrider.com/f/threads/garmin-zumo-xt-better-then-montana-for-off-road-use.1448160/page-2. ( on the internet ) is that the XT uses an Android bases system that does not do tracks well. Zubb , you may have an opinion on this. My. Experience on the TopoActive. Software is that it is just colorized City Nav.

Bagstr replied to Koonzee's topic in Open Discussion
KoonZee, Sorrento Valley, Friend, you are a local Serrento Valley Guy? Normally I would reach out to walk you around. Tied up with wife knee surgery, so out for awhile. Big Question, How are you with Deeep Sand? I can give you routes. -

Unc Why where you so certain you would get the virus? Only 5% of the population has it.

The XT bears investigation. The power cord appears to plug in directly to the gps, another mount may work.

Interesting discussion here with much knowledge being thrown around. Any of these devices will and all have drawbacks. Garmin really dropped the ball with the design of the 700i power converter. You need another Ram mount to hold the darn brick. Randy, have you seen one of these installed under a seat ( off-road )? My headlight area is already too full.

Thanks

BP, Are you saying that your crew went back Gamin as primary device.?

Introducing the new #ADVENTUREHARDER era | KTM
Bagstr replied to Riggerdan's topic in Articles, Movies, Videos, DS/ ADV Related
OK, 366lbs is not bad for a Monster. 60lbs more than a 690, 120lbs more tan a 500. A good Road bike with knobbies. -

RD, What are you drinking out there in the County? Is your attic suffering from Smoke Damage? The corporate project leader, “ The new exclusive 890R, just like the 450 Rally Bike.” Mmmm 🙅♂️ But we can still be friends -
Numpty, This Set-up Guide has been helpful. https://slavensracing.com/help/handling-trouble-shooting/ I suggest you set the Rider Sag to 110mm as a starting point and see how the front wheel feels to you. Slavens out of Colorado Springs has suspension balance video. Proper sag settings will help you feel secure in the rough. Bagstr
