Looking around and one sees Johns Canyon Rd.(Co. Rd 244, Hwy 316) down in the San Juan River canyon. Places nearby; Moki Dugway, Valley of the Gods, Mexican Hat. Satellite views show Johns Canyon stopping,,,but the trail continues possibly connecting to the north on Gultch Creek Rd. to Hwy 276. Would this be a good time of year to go check this out?? Bluefin, 950 no doubt a great street / fire road bike. Your lead says your bikes like to take a lot of naps. Can you pick up your KLR un-assisted? It took everything I had to pick up my 990, three times was my limit in a day. A guy needs to be an excellent rider to handle the SE/ADV offroad. When that big boy goes does down, it is a major event! If intended use is primarily street, it is indeed a Rush.
