    newb ride

My 9 year old rides here... it's newb enough... robertaccio rides some of the same trails...the only difference is speed... and there are a few harder obstacles... we'll just avoid them 8 East to Boulevard Exit... DON'T miss it, or else you have a few miles before you can turn around. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp, then left on 94/Olde 80... go a few miles to McCain Valley Road and turn left... stay on that road for a few miles... seems like 5 in a car, 3 on a bike. OHV area is on your left... the oak tree (no yellow ribbon; no tony orlando and dawn) is right near the outhouse... can't miss either. It is in the day use area http://www.californiadesert.gov/mapfiles/m...ylarkcanyon.pdf Thank you, I will be there 9am.

I wonder what speed the motorcycle was, from the looks of the truck this guy was flying. I hope they recover well, and fast.

    Ride to Julian

It was a lot of traffic to get in to town and no parking space for cars, well I awas not driven a car(lucky me). The apple pie place had a line out side on the street.
  13. Last minute I decide to ride to Julian, I made shore that I would have enough layers for the cold. I took 67 South from Scripps Poway Pkwy and than, Willow Rd up to Ramona. Beside the cold was very enjoyable ride o a dual bike.
  14. I like this ride, but is not for me yet. But I’m looking for a car..

Beautiful pictures, I guess some one decided to take a bath on that water.
  18. Nice photos. Looks like that you had a lot of fun.
  19. Today was my first ride as San Diego Adventure Riders, and I had the pleasure to ride with Joe and Steve0. Coming from Florida where every place is flat, going up on the mountains, rocks, sand and dirt roads is a “little” bit different. Was a lot of fun and I hope they don’t tell that I hit my face on the sand. Joe unloading Steve’s Suzuki 650 Joe and Steve0 James XR650L

    Free XR650L Service Manual

I found this site because I had my bike for 3 weeks with a mechanic and he did not touch it. I decided if I had the service manual I would give a try, and I research for 3 days until I found this site. I don’t Know how long will stay up, but I download service manual before it will go down.
  22. Hi Joe, This what I’m looking for, I see you Saturday 9am at Lake Jennings Park and ride lot. James

    Low Mileages

Hello Every Body I am a new member to this forum and San Diego, I just move from Florida. In 2004 I purchased a XL650l, and every body was concern. One year later I fall and hurt my shoulder. Ironic was not with my XR650L, and just by my self. Now 4 years later I still have the same bike with only 2000 miles, and I reading the adventures on this sites get me very excited. I’m Looking forward to ride the trails out there I just need to buy some gears. James
