Have any of you guys had the law check out your transportation to see if there is a fixit ticket or two they can add on?

Have ridden both street, singletrack and desert. Xr(97) is hands down is better off road, first gear of a billygoat. DRZ(05) is hands down better on the street. I personally liked the XR.

Was curious if any of you fellas know if it is legal to turn left at a signal if your motorcycle will not trip the light sensor(on a red)??? It seems I have to do this often and my bike is "technically" out of DOT specs. and would like to keep it out of the impound yard.

Not to be a smart-ass but isn't that chain a little tight?

Did you say "QUAD-TARDED"

Thanks, already got the 8" racelight for a better beam pattern.

Thanks for the response, Butterfield sounds like a great place to start. We'll be out there this weekend if anyone wants to show us how it's done . Any recommended spots for tenters?

Thanks, looked like some good fun. How far of a ride til' you hit dirt?

Was hoping some of you guys could recommend some good anza/far east county spots for camping/riding that are off limits to the toyhauler masses. Been to Ocotillo 3x and Mojave 1x since I got my bike last month (both are great but I might as well have bought a CR500). Was looking at agua caliente for the pools but my co-pilot (labrador retriever) is not welcome there and have heard it's crowded as well. Also was thinking los coyotes but I've only heard of jeepin' there. Have a good 4x w/a callen camper but bathrooms and showers would still be nice for the girls. Was hopin' to go out this weekend, any recommendations for quiet places w/facilities???-thanks

Trying to replace my less than optimum light on my new KTM exc on a budget, was wondering if anyone has any experience w/ the 8" halogen racelight or the dual fuegos before I order. I went in to their shop and both look like high quality products. Was wondering if anyone has gotten any tickets or have tried both. The 8" is only $225 and is a direct plug-in whereas the dual fuegos require some electrial modifications and at least $200 more by the time you get the rock guards and super white bulbs.??? any input?
