heya kids!! little story time... i ride a DRZ, really i DO!, and every so often i need stuff for it...and location of my local shop is amazing for me...like CLOSE. so i have tried MANY times to utilize them for parts and whatnot...oil filters, oil, washers, etc(*which have been sourced, and i could have order online...quicker...but i digress...) 2 times in a row now(*1st time sprocket related, and now sprocket bolts*), i have got the "we don't sell DRZ, and unless you have the part, so i can compare it, then i can't order it and know we are getting right part." which feels kinda futile from the get go... just VERY frustrating, and honestly, kinda annoying as a customer...yeah, i CAN order online, but i am a fan of "in my hands" shopping...if that makes sense.. seems odd to me, in this environment, to limit ones customer base... *shrug* guess i will just buy from other places. ..just called a "competitor" and "they're on the shelf, i'll have 'em ready for you when you get here!" and a "have a nice day" *edited by me***---i realize my own errors.

any "change" in the surrounding neighborhoods(*construction/street maintenance/etc??), arterial main roads?? or on the work trip(*ie: 32nd street and Harbor? some "upkeep" near workplace?) Just looking to "nail" the issue--- ...CSI:SDAR

it's not that far out there, just stay in right lane, around 65not exactly "relaxing" but worth the effort..hope that helps ...i would like to check the Jamul back areas a little too, maybe soon?

True, but 1:23 is the payback. Besides, now that I'm running trials tires I should be able to do that all the time. even without trials tires i can do the 1:23 maneuver...pppfffttttt

all mesh jacket(*Ultra II) & mesh/stretch for my pants(*police) w/hip pads and sacrum VERY good thoughts here...chest pockets could go without, however makes good cell/cash pocket. slash pockets, especially, would be good choice...i went cargo pockets and use them more than i thought i would bottom line, it holds up well, and for the price, best i have seen. ...other thing i would have done is not have the zipper flap logo(* a little "flamboyant" for me )

i REALLY like my MotoPort stuff, it's SUPER ventilated(*almost too much in morning rides with hoodie under) pads stay in place and work well(*heh, i try to make things interesting ) being that i am oddly constructed, it's nice to know that i have the right pad for the right part... not a 6-3 version of where it should be to "protect". easy to wash, i have worn it in dirt, street, and most any moto application....best padding i have for potential falls for ME, if(*when) i go down, i want to know i am doing my best for MY body, and kevlar and armor works well ...small price to pay vs. almost any injury..but as with ALL things, nothing is invincible

Lame, Spring Training hasn't even started yet.... I never knew you were a Professional Athlete 2 pronged here: 1)have a 9 yr old who FROTHS baseball, has a practice, and a scrimmage this weekend and b)off to AZ next week for 8 days working for the players association..4th year in a row, almost tradition at this point ---aka: not a professional athlete, i just capture them gotta make some family time (*and avoid going to The Vow...#1 goal) ...thankfully, she's going with another mom to the movie(*although, truth be told, she'd NEVER make me go to that type of movie )

man, wish i could... baseball, wife's social calendar, etc...no can ride. take pics, also, weather might be similar to last weekend...which was nice and cool do a report for us inmates.

*go bigger, and 1080 made me laugh pretty hard..not hard to do, i KNOW....but the panda deserves a prize. watch thru it all, past the "YEAH"'s(*~2:30), and hopefully, you see the humor in the bloopers. ...i enjoyed the camera work in the indoor nerf hoop one...nice racking(*imho)

well, MY 1st track, soooo.... BEST TRACK I HAVE EVER RIDDEN!!! was fun, some brake bumps we could all do without, some dedicated shovels could minimize that. didn't expect to run sub 50's, but what it offered i enjoyed. some off camber turns, and some ruts...which is what i expected, and honestly wanted to learn to work thru see a place to get a "little smoother", work on it next lap, some odd combos of camber, turn, and terrain shifts...tho but again, what i was looking for. BEST part, just us... when i left was a couple guys getting there..SUPER private feeling. ..got it down to about a $1/lap...felt good about that.

hoping for a little moisture, have wanted to ride track a while now.. so $20 strong arm, eh?? IN! ***NOTE*** i think(*ymmv) this is VERY noob friendly... as you ride a lap... recognize a "trouble area", next lap, SOLVE IT!!! next lap, MORE SOLID... and so on... ...see you all in the morning!

i got the motoport gloves for street... speed being concern but wear handyman work style gloves for dirt/trails etc...stupid cut/scratches being concern ...depends on what your need is, i suppose.
