my 08 zoke 50s have a mini shrader valve covered by a rubber plug. I always worry about sucking air in so I leave the plugs in and have a system of popping them off and bleeding with a twig usually. Run ambient pressure in your late model forks that is pretty much the standard, also I hit mine during the rides as well, when bouncing around as the heat builds the pressure rises,, after a blast around there always seems to be some excess pressure and the suspension change is noticeable after bleeding. Oh yeah fully extended is the standard, but sometimes on the trail I just pull the bars up and hit the bleeders. As for the YZ guy if he was alone it was not "our" guy,,,,,our guy was tight in tow with a kato300 and for a while with 2 CRFx riders

format is a little different,, 12 mile loop for Am sportsman race and 20 mile loop for ProA B PM race, both races are 2 hour races. look like a greta format!!

I found the big red factory husky trailer with The Harden clan as well. had a really good technical mud hills ride with Husky Relic Scot H and fresh off his B1K P3 Brent H and one other guy , so it was 1 2010 510 Husky my 08 TXC450, Brents JCR CRF450X and Mike with his CRF-X. Again thanks to SDAR guy McTrails, its amazing to run into people way the heck out miles from home!

DD, No see um??,,,, kato 300 or YZ250???? at least 2 of our crew were doing the final training session prior to Tecate HS this Sat, plus they also saw 2 CRF450 riders out on the small trails. Glad you had a no dust day!!! word was great traction with mixed puddles but actually had some dry stuff by PM time with dug up dust in the sand berms??? SDAR crew please Pray for a little more rain this week,, for us THS racers, no dust = more safety and more comfortable=more fun!!! And that is really what it is all about!!!! FUN factor!!!! thanks man,,,tecate ....way too serious!!! no xtra camera equipment to mess with!! Have fun in the D38 stuff!! Hope you can visit the D37 zone for a H&H or big six race,,,,the 29 palms one was epic a few years back after a desert rain the day before!!

hmmmmm Christi ,,, the crystal ball says BIG 6 at Rynoland????????? If not tecate I would do the rynoland event!, it will be really good as well!!

For all adventurers, I highly recommend this event it will be a super good challenging (but very doable) single track ride, just gotta pace yer-self !!!! R

they open up classes for all bikes,,, so enduro/xc bikes can have a go as well. contact the organizers they welcome all into their events. R I would join the fun,,,but there is a certain 5DEC Tecate HS thats calling upon me,,,,,to kick my "behind"!!!!

Latest news Hola Race Participants, We're pleased to announce the addition of an Ironman class to the 2009 Tecate Hare Scrambles! In the past we've had many die-hard racers who like to torture themselves by racing both the morning and afternoon sessions, so this year we're going to do things a little differently and will have a formal Ironman class. Here's the details: - Ironman entrants race the morning and afternoon sessions - Entry fee is $120 (compare that to $160 if you were to enter both sessions separately) - There will be one trophy for every six riders in the Ironman class - Ironman entrants are not eligible for any other class (you'll be busy anyway) - The winner will be determined by the rider who has the fastest combined finishing times of the morning and afternoon races. As far as I know (and that may not be enough!) that is an open riding area so all those H&H trail routes are open.

looks like they fixed er up!! will need to go back out, first time (and last) it was kinda strange with weird lines and lots of ruts. But with a big crowd. Its lookin good my hi speed kid will be happier as looks now. Thanks for the photos.
