Brad, et al I was just wound up, PS I had the 98 250EXC, the first year PDS machine, that served me very well for a few years, it had the WP standard forks on it and had a Factory Connection suspension job that was just amazing, plus matched ports, FMF pipe silencer/SA and a bunch of Acerbis goodies. I got my only Tecate HS trophy on that baby!! Before that one for my first KTM I had a 91 KTM300EXC (linkage rear suspension) WP upside down fork and rear shock, it was basically as they are now, a world enduro comp replica. Oh yeah I had the Acerbis plastic muffler on it for a while, that was a weird thing!!!

did you guys even look at the 2010 MXGP intro,,,,all the MX GP Katos have link type suspension, that is the KTM Factory MXGP team intro...MX1 and MX2, Cairoli and Nagl MX1, with AC on a 350 and Max on a 450, Musquin MX2 on the 250 and the Jr guys on the other machines..........(MX bikes only as stated). I dont see PDS set ups on the 2010 bikes. The KTM factory intro is displaying link type suspension on the 2010 MX GP machines. Looks like the whole crew from the KTM prez to the riders all think they are going with the link for the 2010 season, maybe you guys know better than Everts and the race team, I also believe they will win both the MX1 with Cairoli and MX2 with Marvin again on these new machines http://www.ktm.com/Bike-Spec.102590.0.html note MX bikes SXF350 and 450 rear suspension http://www.ktm.com/Bike-Spec.6397.0.html note MX2 SXF250 rear suspension.

OEM magnet plug yes it does, thought you were searching for cool but unseen add-ons. Mine is now 2 years old and has 155 hours on it, the OEM plug is just as good as new!

This is IMHO, To all of you at SDAR (and the CEO KTMRad). From being around big events (WSBK, Moto Gp ,Off Road racing, MX etc) I gotta say that has to be one of the largest events of the DS kind and covering the most riding area in the world (yes I said that) (you have numbers yet?) A dual sport event with GPS tracks with large numbers of participants going very smooth and well planned. Good on all of you. Does one guy who did not participate matter? As an avid fan of all things moto and SDAR thread follower/writer I hope so. You guy/gals rock and make far off areas accesible to Motos through legal DMV process!! Good work, keep on posting, stories vids and photos, its a really cool read/watch. Thanks for being part of the Moto world, good stuff SDAR. If you have OEM stock TE450 it makes quite a difference to "uncork" the beast, its simple and effective ("closed course only mod") My 06 TE450 (same bike as your 07) had a complete JD jet kit with AP O ring and leak jet set up with the JD suggested Pilot, Main and jet needle setting. but the best supplemental mod for serious torque on my 06 and now 08 TXC450 is the powernow and power now plus, intake splitters, in addition to the JD jetting kit, my bike always start/ed hot or cold (with enrich knob) and never need/ed the hot start. some here at SDAR can attest to my 450 machine being a torque/climbing beast. also a good carb vent filter kit helps keep the motor lasting longer by keepin dust and grit out of the vent lines and into the carb PM if you have further questions.

we use, used gal oil containers with the molded in handle and just hang them off the butt bag belt. They hold up well and are made to contain petrol based liquid. You just dump it in at every opportunity you get, to get that 6lbs off your belt. I ve done many many miles that way and have carried that way during H&H races. Mind you its not the greatest thing but it is a solid option for temp solution.
