Thanks to GP for Hosting Club Meeting

SDAR, That was a great event meeting! I am happy I was there to finally meet Revelle and re-connect with PK. Even had the Husky rep and the spot guy. Great stuff. I did not bring up the dangers of rally racing, but for me as a race fan it was hard hearing Paul speak about his fast Red Bull KTM team member Fabrizio Meoni who did lose his life in a later P2D race. This form of motorcycle racing is for sure the most dangerous in this modern era of "safe" racing, there is a fairly long list of world class level riders who did not come home from Africa alive. I think the 450cc rule keeps things more under control and allows for a larger contingent of privateer riders to get into the mix. Thanks to you guys for getting Paul Krause out to the meeting. In racing by the way Revelle is no slouch, he flat rips, he has beaten alot of top name pros in his racing career as well, hope to see both him and PK at this years Tecate Enduro. I love to watch and try to follow those A and AA guys from my life long B perch!! One thing I missed was maybe a voluntary personal intro to place faces with screen names. Thanks again nice seeing everyone
  5. agreed great stuff..just got back from fishing out of LaPaz Mex for 5 days,,,ready to hit the local patties out at the 302!!! things should really start heating up here in SD!!

Man, No cussing and swearing at anyone except yourself,,with or without the BRUX bite!!! Truth is that yes you can talk with the BRUX bite, with just a slight slur,,,,ask some of our car racing pros that use com systems. Remember this particular product is a performance bite not a sport mouthguard, our company QuattroTi makes the much heavier mouthguards as well as other intra oral devices for medical and scuba too The BRUX is designed purely as a performance bite and yes it can prevent tooth cracks and perform some guard functions however it is smaller and softer than professional style mouthguards. It is designed as a suspension device for you jaw and as the Drs said it positions your jaw into a sweet spot to lessen fatigue which aids in balance. Remember how when we get tired on the bike we all just start falling over. For other sports, like for me in soccer tired=sloppy play unbalanced and sloppy. The BRUX keep you in the game longer and with more comfort. Here's one local MX/Offroad guy that really loves his BRUX, you guys might know him, his name is Ryan Hughes He's a good example of staying in the game longer, late 30s and qualifies for the FIM USGP at Glen Helen.

    Renewed DS rider! (smiley face)

pulled all the chain rollers off and lubed em, removed and flip flopped the chain guide, did oil change and cleaned filter screens. zip tied up wire harness ,,, still need a replacement NiCad or NiMh battery pack the one that was on the bike is shot, saw some on line, but will try Willys electronics in Nat city. All else is ready just waiting for end cap and silencer attachment. Will pull the chain and clean and relube it,, it is caked with chain wax and has lots of stuck on sand and dirt, may get a ride on it first. patience.....soon she will be ready.

    Renewed DS rider! (smiley face)

dialing in the hushy husky solution,,,, keeping the UpTite pipe on for its lean lite weight profile. But I removed the silencer assy and repacked with new FMF muffler packing it had no packing at all. I ordered a 4in Pro Circuit Quiet cap with S/a built in, from what I see it looks minimal or no mod to install this end into the UpTite 4in SuperTrapp end. No more discs!! then after getting that snout set up I'll put a cone over it to clean up the end and get rid of the sharp ended pipe snout http://www.procircuit.com/store/pc/viewPrd...;idcategory=439 http://www.procircuit.com/store/pc/viewPrd...;idcategory=439

BRUX Education Time, Although I am not here to plug the competition, this is a clear and concise dentist explanation of what the performance bite (mouthpiece) concept is all about. For BRUX educational purposes this is a good interview with Drs. Briggs.
