HDB, wow their hard parts look super high quality, very nice stuff. I had seen the HDB hand guards but never all the other stuff. Nice but will work around the less high tech stuff. RN -

I am going to test moving my rear light further forward and mounting the plate directly to the fender and try flush mount rear sigs onto the side of the fender where there is good support. Unless a good Yellow TE rear fender comes onto ebay. the TE fender has the built in mud/flap plate mount. -

thanks for input and discussion. check it out, front sig is just something I guess they are in a good spot, rear sigs do stick out, plate is way to unsupported as I suspected, I tried to keep the least amount of mass, but with the frame/plate assy its just too much on a TC type fender and flaps around too much. before the ride shots from previous post. -

got out to our zone for testing, non DS required. Had morning difficulty with machine rode the RM125 for a warm up,that thing rails,,,while all the crew made jokes about me and the 610 machine,...anyway did some unwanted work on the 610 and got her going pretty well, after some dialing in. Then took the 610 out on the trails ST only and flogged the beast for a while, front left turn signal almost gone, rear right shattered lens, and the plate got tucked into the tire a couple of times and got all bent up... all this with no get offs,, how do you guys/gals manage the road gear. Of course this all happened after most of my crew left. The signals are all OEM Husky stuff and look well designed but still got thrashed within minutes. -

this week just flew by. will post when going during week. think PV may be the best for the time factor. I'll also watch where all of you guys are heading (hint Jacumba) I want to excercise my DS capability without pavement involved. -
Not too serious ad in, and little off topic but some of our crew from a "tough one" type ride in Mexico, installed small marine air horns on their dirt bikes. And being faster than most riders on the event had a fun time with all of us on the ride. No need for a loud bike (one was 525 kato with OEM pipe (fastguy),the other a CRF450X (superfast guy) with OEM pipe) with marine safety air horns installed. Annoying?? hmmm maybe,,, but with sense of trail humor, funny as heck, oh yeah!!

I know Seth busted that one out on a modified H-D and that is a feat for sure. And Seth...well is Seth and has been one of the original crusty demons free riders since the early 90s, cool jump and good tribute to the early jumpers on their XR750 Harleys. But Robbie (Maddo) Maddison is the man with the long distance travel plan. 350.98 feet!!! PS He is a BRUX rider and a very calm and pleasant gent as you will ever meet. Check Maddo's website for his Corinth Canal jump, that is a no option to fail daredevil stunt for sure. Maddo is truly the top dog of distance and height jumps. http://www.robbiemaddison.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=19&catid=3&Itemid=12

A Bite for Performance by William Balanoff, DDS, MS, FICD, and Anna Pankow-Wilson, RDH Patients visit their dentist on average four times per year, spending more time with their oral health professionals than their regular medical doctors. As hygienists and dentists work with patients on a regular basis, they gain an understanding of overall behavior and habits that will affect their patients’ health. Whether a patient is physically active, a regular soda drinker, or a nonflosser, understanding the patient’s habits leads to educated recommendations on products and service offerings from the dental professional. As patient relationships are built on conversations about lifestyle habits that affect oral health and overall wellness, the paradigm in dentistry becomes more than just teeth and gums. Patients may not be aware of the mouth’s interconnectivity with, and effect on, the rest of the body. As dental professionals, it’s our duty to provide them with all of the necessary information and tools they need to make oral health decisions that will have a positive effect on their entire bodies. Oral appliances are an important new component of this education process. The influence of oral appliances on the body’s physiology is not a new notion. Rather, it’s an important area that the dental industry has only just begun to explore. Considerable evidence exists regarding the beneficial use of mouthguards. Studies have shown that not only can they protect from oral-facial injuries, but using a special type of mouthwear during physical activity may enhance performance and maintain stress at a baseline level.1 A new branch of science called craniofacial neurometabolic physiology has risen from the study of mandibular repositioning through wedge bite plates. Dental professionals are at the forefront of this science and technology, playing a key role in our patients’ improved quality of life and physical performance. Stress and health Cortisol is often referred to as “the stress hormone.” We all require a certain amount in order to manage inflammation and other stressful events, whether physical or psychological. However, chronic or excess amounts of this hormone can be harmful and detrimental to many body functions, including muscle strength, stamina, and visual and auditory acuity. When the body is overloaded by stress, such as the “fight-or-flight” response, it reacts by clenching the teeth. Completing a circuit, it is this clenching mechanism that leads to a chain of events in the body. When pressure is exerted on the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) due to teeth clenching, the brain signals the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis to release several hormones. Subsequently, the adrenal gland is activated and releases cortisol, the trigger for adrenaline and immediate energy. Cortisol serves as a positive, quick energy fix when the body is confronted with stress. Yet, when not properly balanced or chronic, it is this stress hormone that can lead to fatigue, a suppressed immune system, limited peripheral vision, a decrease in metabolism, and reduced muscle-building — all actions that hinder physical activity.2 A new kind of dental appliance, performance mouthwear, now gives the dental team an opportunity to help patients achieve optimal physical performance. Differing from a nightguard that is worn to combat bruxism, Performance Mouthwear helps control the effects of stress during physical activity by working to maintain baseline cortisol levels and decrease lactic acid during exercise. The mouthwear employs wedge bite plates that align the lower mandible through occlusal interception and stops the preconditioned “fight-or-flight” response in our bodies. By placing the bite plates over the first molars, the completion of the clenching mechanism is prevented, positioning the mandible in such a way that the head of the condyle is brought slightly out of the fossa. This relieves pressure on the TMJ and moves the lower jaw downward in a slight arc, creating the “optimal safety power position.” It is this mandibular positioning that leads to improved airflow, increased strength and endurance, and improved reaction time and visual acuity — all desirable outcomes during physical activity.

The only TM I have ridden was Trussardi's factory 125. Honestly that was before I knew how to ride a 125 properly, so it was on off like a light switch. The one thing that was mind blowing were the brakes, they were just insane, I think they had Nissin masters with Brembo calipers the pads??

http://tmracingmotorcycles.com/ The US TM site. TM builds all their own motors no outsource for motors, but the usual outsource for all the external bits all high quality aftermarket items. Also like Dai said the older model 2T machines did have Honda compatible parts, I dont know about the new ones. Super exotic and very cool bikes from basically a small "garage" type factory in Pesaro.

just having some tuning issues and want to eliminate any questionable issues. The TE610s came with the same DelLorto carb and jet settings for many years, so with my OEM carb and oem pipe if she still doesn't get dialed in, something else down the trouble shooting list is at fault.Just wanted to eliminate the "robert rigged" exhaust system as a possible issue. Got a second wind, wild hair etc, and did a rapid dissassembly last night, and just reinstalled the OEM dual pipes. Also gave the wiring a real a closer look, and it is not to good standards at all (I knew that but did not want to get tangled up in it) The head lite hi and low with hi indicator and tail and rh turn signals all work. But No left turn signals, no horn, no brake lites (only has a rear pressure sw no front brake sw wiring), So I will spend some time cleaning up the wiring system. and she will come out of the garage with the dual oem cannon quiet exhausts. Still needs some motor tuning as well, still have some issues there, may have the dreaded ignition issue, but no conclusion yet until further testing. -
