    Lark Canyon

http://www.gutsracing.com/pages/ktmmain.html go for gripper cover with soft foam makes for standard seat height but you will sink in more and get lower to ground when seated, and it gets you deeper into the seat, to maintain seated position without using the more radical MX step seat.

    Lark Canyon

Thanks to all, temps reasonable, trails good,,but dusty. And most of all I am happy with the 610 and have confidence that she will handle a bigger DS adventure now. Waiting for that Big Bear thing that happens in the spring and the dez dash as well. enjoy the ride and dont forget the ride for the cure at Cahuilla this coming weekend.

    Some insane driving skills!

Ken Block is a man enjoying the fruit of his companies' profits, he's the DC shoes cofounder with Rob D. Ken regularly qualifies for World rally events, that takes alot of hi level driving skill. Physical training and supplemented by MX legend Ryno Hughes right here in T-Mec, usually (could not see, maybe the clear one) wears his BRUX mouthwear while training and driving.

    DaJudge ride redux

Looks like a KLR650. one of these right? with red plastic http://www.bikepics.com/members/nacnac/96klx650/
  8. quoted From the site boss "For example, if you want to go on a ride with minimal stops, and a fast paced ride, don't hesitate to mention that. If it's going to involve technical, difficult, challenging terrain, mention that also." all of the above, will be on my DS TE610 at Lark/McCain early 2 morrow Sat 18Sep10 note it is very dusty out there. rig looks like this but the bike is a big 577cc blue/wht/yellow beast with turnsignals, horn and a plate, stop by and say hey and/or join the conga line. testing 610 with zip-ty (evans non-aqueous coolant)but still with a 1.1 cap
  9. actually got out super early rode a loop with TXC250 rider, we hammered out a solid connection loop, he left and I putted around til I hooked up with 2 other guys 1 KTM one Husaberg, we went on a good loop, then back at the tree there was great crew SDAR folks (that we also saw out on the trail on the way back) Good day, good exercise, the doggone TE610 is working great,(soft in the forks but no bother) starting great and my confidence in the 99 model machine is close to 100%, I keep channeling Anders Ericsson when riding it and the big swede schools me on the proper technique!!! Good safe crowd out at McCain,,,also saw the Colby and Al show as well. good stuff, hoping for the TXC450 to be ready within 2 weeks for post rebuild breakin.
  10. 1.2 bar cap not 1.1 may stay long enough to salute the Al and Colby team. just getting used to and confident with the reliability of the TE610, before going on any really longer distance DS rides

    Weekend of 09/11-12/10

Nice report!! I love those 2 guys!! They are like clockwork on Saturdays at McCain! Al's Montesa is super cool. and Colby's KTM, well it is certainly set up way different than most. dont remember what year maybe 2001 but a group of trials guys rode the entire tecate hare scrambles "pro" race 3 hour (standing of course)and a couple finished really well in the OA standings, I am still amazed to this day from that leg burner exercise.

    2006 525 EXE

PS its acually a 525 EXC (E-Enduro-XC-Cross Country) no matter now
  18. If I open my mouth concerning this event and my opinion of it......especially now that the actual entry/resume'/authorization to race form is out.... I will see y'all at the 50 year anniversary (yes 50th anniversary) Tecate Enduro for a real event/adventure ride of 90 miles of tough, out in the hills single track. circus show not included. rules minimal and simple, enter race/ride, follow ribbon, deal with obstacles, just keep on going and going and going until finish. I am sure this Hollywood Cat GP event will be well supported, so my personal opinion has no bearing on the event and I do hope they have a successful show, everything moto related is OK for me. Note also I do and have supported D37 racing (Nat H&Hs).For all those who do go, enjoy the show.(my disclaimer)

    D37 Grand Prix

great job,,,to finish first first you must finish. Just dont like when folks at the amateur level are punting riders off course from them riding over their own heads. Glad it was an injury free fun but challenging ride! See ya at the naT
