    YZ426F Will not start

simple stuff first got air? (filter clean) got spark?(fresh plug is good too, kill switch short to ground check) got fresh fuel? (got fuel getting in to engine, petcock screen, water in tank, inline filter) got clean carb? (all clean and jets unclogged) got valve clearance? (important, very) got compression? got good cam timing? (cam chain stretch throws off cam timing=hard or no start) good luck and go step by step easy stuff progress to the more labor intensive (dont jump the gun). good suggestion posts above

    MotoGP 125

alot of the 125 GP bike expansion chambers are shouded for aerodynamics and they present a really strange profile like a big bazooka looking pipe. That is maybe how it was viewed, but mechanically internal they look like your basic 2 stroke pipe from FMF or other. RN PS Spain is just going off this year in international sports from F1 to MotoGP to Moto2 to 125GP to tennis and to Soccer!! They are the action sports/big money sports winners for 2010!!By a long shot!

We did our yearly office cake cutting and sharing with the NCO sword. We read notes and quotes from Commandant USMC, SecNav, SecDef and a medal citation for Cpl Oulette of New Hampshire (KIA Afghanistan). Thanks Robert N, former Sgt USMC VMAQ-2 2nd MAW Cherry Pt NC.

  15. challenge it or stay on the jeep/quad/regular single track moto trails, impassable to many is simple second nature to some. I liked the original trail as it was,,,its just that everyone focuses on the groove and gets deeper and deeper from all the wheel spinning. The rocks offered the best line you just gotta commit, this trail is a real natural trail, and commendations go out to the design team. Need to get back out on it for some back and forth burn it in time. stand up, or sit, less wheel spin more clutch slip more weight onto the rear and more active on the bike in all 3 axis of movement. got it on Hcam from the original layout. sorry to rain on anyones parade but this is one of almost only one trail out there that is not for everyone. reroute to make it easier is wrong. my two pence.

    November 7th

xr650 rider, Try to modulate (slip) your clutch a little more on the big girl and maintain more constant throttle. You're riding over tough, bumpy hard stuff in good body position from the photo view, but the on again off again throttle (gas) is upsetting your smooth flow. You can smooth out the terrain with the clutch both under acceleration(less advanced) and deceleration (more advanced) my 2 cents worth of advice, good video. Looks like y'all had a good ride, conditions looked great. BS is a great trail leader and solid/safe rider. Once we get past this upcoming event I would like to join you all again, maybe on my big girl DS TE610. RN Albert! good to see you in the peleton, I still remember your never say die effort on that loose hill(advanced climb) at the mccain zone, we went up that thing yesterday, the loose sandy area is still the same but the rock steps are getting uglier by the minute. Did you get a softy(lower) seat for the 530?

  18. good points, and uphills for all to remember use your quick transition moves on the uphill pivot, its best to JUMP with real commitment over to the other side of the seat (learned this from world enduro champ) and plant your foot and get your weight transfered to the low side (against the hill) quickly to avoid that dreaded highside tumble and remember to adjust position from forward to aft to weight your rear wheel in the power range/band slipping clutch to prevent loop out wheelie. But pivot wheelie can be good for advanced riders, just dont let the bike get away or it will piroette right off the trail. Thanks for posting, that area looks epic!

    It really is getting WORSE...

I would rather drive down through Tecate to Rancho Sta V and ride/race single track for days, then visit many parts of LA, NY, Baltimore, Detroit, DC etc etc . estimated just a wag by me that at least 90% of those killed in Mex are in the biz. for historical context follow the Columbia story, when the pressure was strong against the trade the killing and terrorism skyrocketed, until the whole big org collapsed and common working folks reclaimed their country. Note also: Hey US dopers stop buying the blood stained dope that you love so much!!!without a market the biz owners will wither up and their empires and violence will crumble. my 2 cents
  21. That was a great trail/DS ride report!!! That NAU helmet is very nice!! see below, Also for full face helmets you may want to explore the possibilty of procuring an AIROH Stelt Sr (top line) or one of the mid range AIROHs. My Stelt Senior is 1000 grams (super lite, its one of my secret weapons), its what all those fast MX and enduro Euros and some select US riders are using.
  22. http://www.motociclismo.it/gallery/moto-scooter?gpage=1 was at EICMA 2008, this is the most amazing moto show. (plus there is a whole side of bicycle as well that I never even saw)
