I am A GPS noob and I bought this model second hand A while back . Works fine when I have used it in the desert.

That is the ramp I have. I will just keep an eye on mine when I use it . Glad yours is working well.

I also have the in-expensive cycle gear one. I do notice the steel is not very thick on the part that goes in the receiver. Has anyone added reinforcement to one of these ?

My buddy I was planning on riding with cannot make it. I am planning on staging in Borrego Springs area around 9 amIf anyone is interested post up. I know the area ok. Planning on mild ride . Coyote canyon, Fonts point .Not sure after that.

Thanks Ken . I am just doing A little exploring near Borrego. I am going to be staying out there for the weekend with my wife. Looking for some areas we can go that she won't have to hike too much to see.

I will avoid the zoo if possible. I usually try weekday rides where ohv's are allowed. Thanks for the heads up.

I am staying in Borrego for the weekend in late March with my wife. I am trying to find a place to rent A Jeep or 4x4 truck to explore some sandy areas I don't want to get my 2 wheel drive truck stuck in. Does anyone know where I can rent something ?

Thanks Brian . I am going to rent in SD area. I got A quote for A 4x4 for 3 days for $175. I am checking around for a good price and wondering if anyone has A place that they have rented from. Now I need to scout some tracks on my bike
