I have heard some of you talk about a trail that goes up the backside of banner grade. Where does it start and end. Also, anyone know of a trail from borrego to the warner springs / anza area. I am looking to try some new areas and these seem interesting. GPS tracks anyone? thanks

is it possible to get from Pine Valley over the top of sunrise hwy and possibly down to the desert floor to head towards banner grade? WE are starting in ramona, engineer, boulder creek, to pine valley, then I don't know. We are heading out at 9:45 - 10:00am. Anyone know this area and if my requests are possible. GPS tracks would be great but written directions work to! thanks and we are always looking for riders. thanks

We are looking for ideas to ride Sunday Nov 2, we want to start in the Kearny Mesa area and head out towards viejas grade, boulder creak, engineer, so on. Is there any off shoots that we should hit? Maybe more technical would be great. thanks

It could have been us, one of the bikes was a little 250cc that was thirsty every 70 miles, so I might have been us, around 10:30ish? We started in Ramona at Packards 8:00. It was much longer than we had expected to ride, we finished @ 3:30pm. It was sure good fun!

Does anyone know if the gates are open or locked, if they are locked is there a code on the gate to open it? I am planning the ride for sunday and would like to go up the Palomar back side, does anyone know if their is another way if the gates are locked. great thanks -Jason

Which Mountain, Palomar, Mesa Grande or the Mtn Over to Anza. We covered all three, Palomar and Anza are off of the 79 just west of Warner Springs, Mesa Grande we accessed from Ramona side. Go to the GPS section of this forum and look for CRAWDADDY's tracks, this was his ride and I just followed his tracks.

Looking for a few routes from Ramona to Julian utilizing dirt as much as possible, is there anything that goes up the backside from Banner side? My route so far is this, Ramona to Black Canyon to Mesa Grande, I am hoping to catch something from Henshaw over the hill towards Julian. Anyone know of anything, I am just trying to do as much dirt as possible. thanks -J

I am looking at purchasing either the TPI or the HT unit for an 08 KLR650. Anyone had any experience with either? The mounting of the middle flat stock looks pretty weak. Any help would be great. thanks -J

Just got it back from the dealer, it was a bad battery? They replaced it with the proper Maintenance Free like it was supposed to be from the factory and now it is good. thanks for the input. -J

I have a 08 KLR650 with 1000miles on it. Riding to work today the thing just dies, no power to anything, no lights, no horn, no nada. I have already checked the main fuse and battery, I am getting power all the way to the far side of the main fuse. I am unable to trace the problem past that. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
