Ok it looks like Sunday 0800 for breakfast at the Casino then ride dirt to the ATA event at Mc Cain. I may end up 4 wheeling to the event, I am trying to drag a wounded rider out with us. Would that be Kawee? Is Dennis aware that if a rider goes down, that it is customary for the other riders to buy the beers!

The freeway can be scary, but once you do it a couple of times-its easy. I remember my first time on my XT350 I could barely keep up. After a couple of times, I learned the ropes and then it wasnt a problem. Give the freeway a shot!/Kev

How about this. Its cold, Lynyrd Skynryd playing inside your helmet while riding the mountains around Big Bear. Your heated Jacket Liner on High as you go down the dirt road with your buddies. And if all goes well, a cold beer at the end of the trail. See ya there!

Did you guys take Grapevine all the way, or did you detour onto Jasper Trail that comes out on top of the Montezuma Grade?

It may look good, but you might want to consider the air that is now not going to be pushed into you radiator-might be a cooling issue if your dirt riding!

I went to one of these a couple years ago at Corral Canyon. It is incedible what these guys do. I took my DS and attemepted to just ride to the course, and that was tuff enough!!

You can access the trail Just south of the Sunshine(Sunrise) store on 79. There is a brown marker, called 9n03(I think)/Kev

This year will be the 3rd Year. Usually held at a campground. Saturday night is the banquet dinner and give-aways. Lots of Sand on this two day ride. It will sell out, so make sure you get your entries in ASAP! As soon as the logisitics are figured out, the details will be released!/Kev

Two wheels brings up a good point. I also understand there might be some private land at the bottom of the trail that might cause some problems. This will have to be investigated before doing some maintance and future exploration/Kev

I wont be there on Saturday, as I am not that exicited about sand-actually, sand sucks! My ATK is great in the sand, but the BMW is a little work. I will catch you on the next one and on LA-B-V! Kev
