  1. Start racing vintage mx, it was right about 40 when I started and still going at 56. Great fun and just like here at SDAR you meet a ton of cool people.

I thought you were cross-training on a bicycle across Europe this week. What are you doing lurking around on SDAR?

    CiD

Layover in Vienna, jump on bike Monday for six days. Got a email from KTM for a tour date but won't work on my schedule. See you in a couple weeks.

  2. It's Axel's camera, and I mentioned it... he bought it used, and he doesn't know what I was talking about. It is sitting here on my desk right now, and I'm trying to fashion something.

I also don't have any editing software, or I would just put a Tighten Ups song over all the clicking and squeeking

I just made this video last night using the You Tube video editor, its all basic and did a good job trimming up more then 7 min of video down to 2:30. You Tube also has a selection of music on the editor as well.

  3. Before

71 Super Rat with custom mod frame, added reed valve to cylinder, plastic rear fender found at an estate sale.

    After

Not a full restore but to be a good rider. Motor back to new with piston port intake, stock frame, rear shocks, some powder coat, and good used oem tires and a chain guard that is very hard to find because back in the day everyone took them off.

Do you know what SDAR members this is? Read the hint.

  4. Thanks for the offer hobiee. I'd definitely like to try Glamis sometime but I don't have a paddle and I'm on a 250f at the moment. A 450 or 250T would be a lot of fun there!

ADV bum - very cool, please keep me posted.

I'm open to desert or mountains but I'm afraid some of the fireroads may be closed due to the rains. Kato also expressed interest and hodnetjj is a possibility too. The Ocotillo Wells mudhills would be pretty fun at night, as would play riding in Superstition. Another option would be the Warner Springs to Thomas Mtn run. Lots of options.

Tim, I have a complete rear set up with paddle we run on our 250f. You more then welcome to use if you like.
