    Street Ride Sat, Oct 2

I'd totally ride my Ninja down there but I have to work Saturday...life, you know. Have fun.
  2. I'm signed up on ADV rider as an attendee......that was my gameplan before I switched my focus to the Beach to River redux that same weekend......unfortunately, I have to take a pass on both events because my mother has decided to come down and stay with me that same weekend (I gave her an open window saying I'd adapt to whatever schedule worked for her)......doesn't matter how old you get, parents can STILL change your best laid plans Haha alright man. Well I just got cleared from work, from both jobs, to go on this ride Well hey, there's always next year!
  3. I think I am already doing the beach to the river ride that weekend, but if for some reason that falls through, I would be interested in going. Ken Sounds cool. Also, excellent choice of bike with that Husqvarna 510! If I had money for a new bike today, I think the SM510 would be one of two main contenders for my $'s. It looks like a really cool bike I think!
  4. Death Valley, November (6?) 7, 8, and 9. This is just a thread to point any that might be interested toward this ride, which was posted on www.advrider.com . I am planning on riding my TW up from San Bernardino, with a guy on a KLX250 from Murrieta,CA! Please let me know if you are interested in going on this ride. I don't expect that anyone from this area will want to even truck a bike all the way up to Death Valley. But it is a three day camp and ride, so I thought I'd give it a shot.
  5. Hey Shockey, I will be riding a 150 with Hammer soooo watch out. I think we will smoke you on our 150's Agreed. An advanced or aggressive expert rider on a 150 will smoke a cautious intermediate rider on a 400 on the Corral Canyon terrain. The 50 or the 70 would be a different story. Baja terrain could be a different story. Spaugh on his 02 KTM 400 - a different story. As for Bronco Trail 3A, no one is making it over the initial rocky/boulder section with feet on the pegs. You can bulldog it though and the lighter 150 will be good for that purpose. The silty section following the boulders will be possible on a 150, but very difficult, even for The Hammer. Robertaccio might consider the 150 a decent tool for the job, and a 2 stroke 250 the ideal tool. Anyone who gets up that section with feet on the pegs gets a gold star. I will be waiting at the top with my camera. Hmm, this "rocky/boulder section" sounds like my kind of ride~! My TW200 would make short work of it, I'll wager.
  6. Aww dang, another TW, lol. I wish I lived closer!
  7. Haha hey Wayne that is an awsome video I was wondering if someone was going to post a ride report. Well it's good that you did. I like thos pictures. That camera can take some huge res pics. Anyway this was a great ride, very fun! I can't wait till next weekend for that Big Bear run with the ADVrider guys. All I know is there are going to be ALOT of riders on that one.
  8. Excellent. I'll still plan on being there at 8:30 hahaha.
  9. Oh yea I forgot to ask can you tell me where exactly to meet at in Yucca Valley(I can plan on being in Yucca Valley at about 8:30 just to be sure I won't be late like the last ride I went on...)? I'd be going along the 10 East from Cherry Valley. Thanks, KJ.
  10. Just bumping this up as a reminder. I posted this quite a while back. I live at 38141 Orchard St. in Cherry Valley. Mapquest...if you want to ride up with me. If not just check the ADV rider post and maybe I'll see some of you there.
  11. I think I can make it on this one. It looks good. I'll have to see if I can manage to get some homework done tomorrow and get home from my date early enough to get some sleep so I won't be a zombie for the ride . I live in Cherry Valley(which is on the map you provided if anyone wonders...). Wayne it looks like you're going. It'll be good to ride with you again! Aggh by the way is it just me or what...when I send a private message to someone, nothing shows up in my sent items folder! I'm assuming the messages did actually go through?

    Dual sport CRF 450

Well, plates are plates. I've never heard of anyone having any trouble with anything that's already plated.
  13. Oh don't you know, "TW" stands for Time Warp :declare: lol yeah...that's May 17(16-18 but I'll only be riding Sat.) :ok: the one from ADV. Just thought I'd invite people here in case they didn't know about it. And maybe even get a couple riding buds for the street ride up there from my house.
  14. EDIT: I am now also planning on doing the Friday part of this ride, then going home and going back up on Sat. as stated below. I'll be riding up to Big Bear Lake, CA on my TW for a day of mostly off-roading. I'll be joining a fairly large group from "ADV rider". I plan on leaving my house at about 7:00 A.M. to get there a few minutes after 8 and probably begin the ride from there at about 9:00. If anyone is interested you could park a truck at my house and ride up with me. I plan on riding for most of the day. Let me know if you're in and and of course feel free to ask any questions! Just bumping this up as a reminder. I posted this quite a while back.

    Saturday March 22nd

goat gearing? What's that? Just kidding haha what size sprocket are you running on that dr? I'm trying to decide what sprocket to get; they're available from 37 to 70 tooth lol I can't decide. There are pros and cons of each size. 70 would be fun for tooling around/walking the bike up hills at idle, power wheelies etc. lol but I'm not sure I want another moped...42 best for street but renders second gear completely useless off road. 60 prob best for off road(lots of power in second gear at just over 20 mph for hill climbs)...ok I'm rambling sorry I tend to do that I'm unaturally obsessed. so your sprocket is??
