This just acts as a bluetooth bridge... It doesn't seem like it would be all that intergrated. I'm sure there is an easy enough hack to connect it to a ham. But you'd need this thingy and a sena setup on your helmet.

Drabnor's Pacific Northwest adventure
Bbg.will replied to Drabnor's topic in 4 Days & Longer Trip Write-Ups and Photos
Heard someone ran out of gas today... Too bad the trails are so dry out there and those fires have everyone rightfully nervous. Hopefully some rain will be deposited before next weekend and Steve can run you up to the top of miller. -
Bump...

Figured I'd throw it out there just in case. Labor Day weekend I'm making a quick run out to phoenix with my little open trailer to bring stuff back from my partent's house for my sister. So if anyone has a need to transport something out there or along the way, I have a 5.5 x 10 that'll be empty. I've been told this trailer will carry a smart car. So if you have a smart car, or smaller sized load that needs to go to Phoenix/Glendale, AZ, lemme know. I'm not a 100% sure how much room ill have coming back, as I'm bring furniture for my sister.

On facebook, check out "Cle Elum Trails Off-Road". Mikki and a couple of the long time OHV Rangers moderate it. Always people in there with good info.... -

Don't forget, Cle Elum, WA... My bro is there on the weekends, and the OHV ranger for the district is pretty awesome. Old motocross racer turned downhill mountain biker and Xgames 2 medalist. Her name is Mikki. -
Look into auto-racing earbuds... Or these. https://www.plugfones.com

Randy, I too need to ship a bike to Washington... Mine will be heading to Yelm near Ft Lewis/McCord. Any chance you are planning to ship in July? Maybe we can coordinate and get better pricing.

I've decided to pass on my little dual sport to my brother who lives up just outside of Olympia on the back side of JB Lewis-McChord. With two babies under two, I just don't ride it anymore. No specific time frame needed, but if someone is headed up that way already, or even just getting close by and you have some room, I'll gladly pitch in some gas money.

Hey alright! July/August 'ish?

Not your grandfathers Husky

Is it me, or was the rider shifting his weight to the outside of the turn and pushing the bike lower into the corner? As opposed to shifting weight towards the center of the curve... -
I would NOT recommend Ticor Title in Carlsbad.... Just bought my place last year and used them as it was a seller's requirement. Seemed like ever 48 hours they had a new "requirement" that needed to be met expeditiously... A guy at work had to use them a few months later... Same story.... I think I used First American down in bankers hill on my first house. And remember them being good... But that was 6 years ago.

I've used bob on my bike way back in the day after I wadded up the tail when I crashed... He's basically replaced the last 8 inches of the frame just past the seat. Matched all the angles really well and put all the tabs and cross braces back on. The plastics mounted back up with minimal finessing. I know he really likes doing rock crawlers, buggies and street rods, but I'd think he'd probably do anything if he could fit you in...

Why not take the metrolink train? The train goes as far south as Oceanside, and I believe they have a direct/near-direct shuttle from LA Grand Central to LAX.

Or, just brace the top of the legs to the under side of bench top. Maybe a pair of steel flat stock at 45s per leg.

+2 on what KTMrad said... I'm not sure how many of you have taken an EVOC (emergency vehicle operators course), but lights and sirens only means you are allowed to make exceptions to the law. You still have to exercise reasonable care when taking those exceptions tho.

Motorcyclists chase driver after fender bender
Bbg.will replied to Dan Diego's topic in Open Discussion
Exactly! Regardless if it was only 2 or 3 out of 50 that actually did anything violent or overtly dangerous and reckless, the presence of the others who are essentially aiding the blocking of the road would make this a very intimidating experience. Its hard to know what was going through the Range driver's head, but I would think that if I were in the same position, even as a dirt/street rider, with my wife and my 5 month old daughter in the car with me, I would have done the same thing. Get out of there, protect my family. We'll have to see what comes of this through the investigation or court if it goes that far. Do I feel bad for the guy that got ran over, yup. Did he deserve it. Probably not. Did he help create the situation. Yup. Could he have avoided it. Yup, he could have not stopped directly in front of the SUV. He could have not been riding with the other A$$Hat riders. Personally I believe that the entire group of riders should charged with menacing and reckless driving. Not a single one of them is completely innocent in this matter. You don't even need the other videos to see that. -
True story; I got a phone call this morning saying I had been furloughed before I could even start my new DoD job. Personally, I think it's hilarious, but even if they fix this tomorrow, I still can't start for at least 2 weeks when I was supposed to start on Monday.. So I guess this sucks? Oh well.
-
Thanks. The most ironic thing about it was yesterday was my last day at my old job and they already hired and I'd been training my replacement. I offered to stay on through the furlough, but they are tight on $$$ and said no... I'm glad my wife and I are prepared for times like this. Speaking of HI, have you met t-15?

I love Rookies, especially their wings!

I looove rookies! Killer wings! I like to go on Wednesdays. I believe that is the wing special night...

I'm sure you know plenty of people out there, but just in case, I've got a buddy who is a chief HSL-37. Ask for T-15, and tell him Will in San Diego sent you. I know he has a cruiser and would probably go ride with you if you rent something out there.

I feel you... I've got my own real estate conundrum as well... Almost a month now... Once I make if into escrow, I'm going to need a GC to walk through with me to let me know what I'm getting into... Do you think you might have time sometime in the near future? It's in your neighborhood...

Those do look cool, but also expensive!
