RogerTOWM replied to KTMrad's topic in Website Information and/or Problems
I want to thank Uncle Cam for all the work he has done! I also want to thank you Randy, you know I have enjoyed this site and the rides immensely. I know Roger will be a great asset and I want to thank him for the work I know he is going to do. You guys are the greatest! Deb, you are always on the top of my list as well. And you are much prettier then those other three!! -
Meg Whitman Rides ATV's
RogerTOWM replied to KTMrad's topic in Important Issues, Environmental-Land Use Issues, Important Meetings & Local Information
Ah Meg and Jerry! For those with short memories or are too young we have remembered Governor Moonbeam. There is a reason he was called that. If you would like higher taxes, less riding areas, less jobs and more regulations then vote for Jerry. He will make sure you get those things. Meg would not be my first choice but she will be better then Jerry. -
Discounts on MSF classes
RogerTOWM replied to carguy's topic in Motorcycle Safety, Training & Riding Schools
I took the dirt MSF class and learned alot. I have had my motorcycle license for over 35 years. Old dogs can learn new trick. A few of you have been asking about classes, this is it. -
You like making me cry, don't you Hobiee? I still remember seeing my dad board the ship to go over seas in 64. Does that date mean anything to any of you?

Sorry to hear about your friend Cameron. Stay strong and remember the good times.

Hey I now only kill the dinosaurs when I go on adventure rides. Leather weighs to much when it gets wet, synthetic is much more versatile. You can still have great times on a road bike, even a Harley. A guy went around the world on a Harley-Davidson Sportster and he is a double amputee. Here are links to three trips I took and I went on dirt roads on all three trips. I think I need to do another one. Anyway my point is that even if you can’t hit the single track for a while you can still have some terrific times on two wheels.

Let’s see “as comfortable as a touring bike and easily outfitted with lots of storage for longer tours”. Well my Harley-Davidson Electra-Glide does that. I have also taken it down 40 miles of gravel road and over the washboard dirt road to Bodie. So I guess the Harley is an adventure bike? It rides well on the street and can travel gravel / dirt roads. So when are you getting the Harley?

Looks like another fantastic C-didy ride. Great photos of beautiful trails and countryside. Wish I could have been there with you guys -
Happy Birthday guys.

One report I read said that two strokes were street legal in the EU and met more stringent standards then the US. The bad thing is that Husaberg is not going to import the TE 250 or 300 into the US at this time.

Happy Birthday Paul!

Big Bear Day Ride
RogerTOWM replied to klarue's topic in 1 to 3 Day Ride Write-Ups, Stories and Photos
Nice report. Sounds like something I should have done with the 990. Post up the next time you do a ride up there and you may get some bites. There are a few big adventure bikes here to go with the dual sports. -
