Darren, I thought about going on your ride - looks like a good one. I dont have the whole day to dedicate to a ride so I thought this one would be a quickee. I plan to ride with you some more soon.

The people that dont like the wrap around style are riding their dirt bikes like trials bikes and fly over the bars alot. Us mere mortals will benefit from the wrap around style and most likely never experience getting trapped behind the guards. I prefer Cycra because they are made in America, and they dont bend very easy ( I have tried on numerous occasions!!) Be afraid of the look a likes on Amazon, inferior Aluminum.

Shutterrev- how does the desert HT compare to the Enduro ST. Have you ever run one? Front tire to be specific. I was thinking it may work better in the soft stuff, but is still a DOT tire.

That thing wasn't going to get it's self up the hill!

The "Badlands" was a tough little wash trail that had everything you could ever want in a ride. Rocks burried in deep deep sand, hill climbs, deep deep sand, knife edge down hill death trail, soft places to fall over and plenty of sunshine! The shot of the hill climb makes me look better than I am!! about 1 second after the picture was taken, my brain told the rest of my body that it could not make the 4 foot vertical climb at the top of the hill. Too much self preservation? Chicken S#%T? I guess I cant say "I need to get used to the new bike" when Darren gets on it and rips it up the hill!!

Anybody not going to Geico Rally interested in a desert ride Sunday? Riding from East County to ? Time to see what the new to me 701 can do in the sand.

There will be many more rides. Get it fixed and come play next time.

I am riding from Los Coches Rd. , kind of doing a range test. You like to meet in Ocotillo, so maybe around 9 am. What was the name of the place you always meet at? From there. I am open to anywhere.
