    Radios or Bluetooth?

I might qualify as an old fart anyhow....I read someone likes to sing too, how nice to be serenaded on the trail or not.
  4. Just to be clear, I am not affiliated or promoting, just sharing the link I saw. I dont have a bike big enough to play rally anyhow. If posting was a douche move, I’ll delete.

Anyone Know a Good Caterer for Desert Dash ?

Probably pretty pricey, but they were damn good when they had a restaurant too... https://www.bekkerscatering.com
  6. Hahaha, thanks for the chat Charlie! It was a great ride.
  7. Started at Campo Rd and rode down to Dominguez Lake. I was surprised at the amount of water. Then continued along trails and the RR tracks to Jacumba where we rode the border fence to the east end at the airport. Motored up In Ko Pa to Elliott Mine and Valley of Moons. Afterwards visited the desert view tower and then slabbed it back to Jacumba for a Jay’s Southern BBQ link samich. Total only 51 miles and great weather. Not one other rider seen. Awesome, have a great time....Go Tomac!
  10. I assume I will need a wilderness pass for the four corners area and is there room in this lot for my small bike trailer 5x9 and truck too? I have ridden into Corral from Bear Valley via Kiernan, but not familiar with it otherwise. Thanks..
  11. I am hoping to get this in as well. Not familiar with Ranger trail at all.
  12. Thanks to Wildwood who shared the GPX file of the Droolers delight ride with me, my buddy and I did this ride today. We left Pine Valley at 0730 and had lunch in Julian at a place called Heroes. If you didn’t know already, the owners of this place are also dual sport riders and the food particularly the cheeseburger with bacon was outstanding. It was also air conditioned and the beer is cold too. (Nickel Beer Co did not open till 2 pm.) The weather was great, not too hot or cold and there was a decent breeze. Scenic route, not very tough but perfect for getting the feet wet again. With our exploring we did 84 miles. Big thanks Bob for sharing. I owe you a lunch!
  13. I retired at the beginning of the year with 30 years...Never a motor or traffic though.
  14. I know one or two of these guys. https://youtu.be/8dirun8eFKw
  15. Well, it will wheelie! Poor guy must have been mortified...
  16. I am looking into a riding jacket with at least shoulder and elbow protection. Interested in the Fly Terra Trek for $199. Would like to stay at or less than $250. Anyone have any recommendations in this range? I have separate elbow, chest and shoulder armor for warmer weather or when not riding slab.
  17. Agreed Mike, I had no idea they had lobbyist putting in work too. I am joining also...
