    Golden tire Gt216AA

You won't be disappointed. Have had one my 300 for 5 months and love it.
  2. The slow mo at the end of the video where you see his head slam back and forth is chilling.

That concurs with the timing they gave me about two weeks ago. Placed my order back on Feb 8th!!

    SDAR in the news!

Seriously that's the best looking rider they could find!! Your helmet says Gas Gas and you're on a Suzuki?? I'm so confused. I know for a fact his riding partner looked way better! Have you met up with Trish yet? She was very much into you. Don't you mean Beta Corporate?

    G2 Throttle

Searching around and came across this.... so to resurrect this thread. I put a G2 Throttle tamer on the 300 and the very next ride I found myself exiting corners more consistently instead of loosing traction and fish tailing. I also installed one on my 500 after the first ride on it to smooth that initial power delivery and I like it. It's not mind blowing difference but just enough to where it smooths things out. FYI... running the 400 cam in both.
  6. Makes me very happy to have a Delorme InReach!

    Golden tire Gt216AA

Rob or anyone in the know.... Did the Michelin M16 90/100-21 mousse work out for the Gold Tyre 216AA? Or has the Golden Tyre large mousse hit the streets yet? Have a GT 216AA on the way for my 500 and am considering the mousse. Of note, found this company selling all Michelin mousses for $99 with free shipping. http://www.pdi-racing.com/mx/michelin-tube-90-100-21f-bib-mousse-22513/
  9. I have an evs neck collar. Worked good with my Troy lee designs air helmet, but when I switched to the shoei vfx-w it inhibited my ability to look up so I stopped using it. Point being test the fit with your helmet to make sure it does not inhibit movement that you desire.
  10. Would love to head up there with you. Not in the cards for me this weekend.

Another addition to an ever growing family

I'd say you should be thankful (I'm sure you are) she is part of the passion and has the bug. Makes it much easier to get new bikes!!!

    Pine Valley

I thought that was you riding back down the rode to the cul-de-sac around noon. You pasted Pasta and I limping back. Him with a flat rear, me with a slipping clutch.

    2012+ WR450 Impressions

Bummer. You add a lever arm off the rear of the foot brake pedal. Works great! You could give him a call or email, really nice guy, maybe he's on the fence of making a cable for the new WR's and just needs your request to put him over the edge.

What LHRB did you go with? Take a look at Ox-Brake. http://www.oxbrake.com/ I have one on both my 300 and 500. Super easy install and half the price of Rekluse LHRB. I had fits bleeding the Rekluse LHRB to function right so I returned it. Others had better luck, but I threw in the towel. Ox-Brake, no fluids to mess with, run the cable and done. No affiliation yada yada, just a happy user.
  15. Now that's a day of riding. Sorry I couldn't join you. Happy birthday!

Best Big Tank for '13 KTM 500EXC?

I went with the Acerbis 3.1 as I did not want any increase in width for my legs and wanted to retain stock shrouds. I've ridden one with a 5 gal tank, not sure which one (tank), it was really wide and not too my tastes. The 4.1 might be a good in between tank. As PMB said, you will need to use the supplied #5 part as the thickness of the tank wall at the petcock location is different from the stock tank. My thinking was these bikes are getting 100 miles on the stock tank (see 360enduro.com). Add .85 gallons with the 3.1 tank and that should put you up around 140, or more conservatively 130. That was enough range for me. If on the rare occasion I would need more, I have a rotpax 1 gal can I can mount. I think this is the 90 degree thing PMB is referring too. http://dualsport-sd.com/forums/index.php?/topic/19597-wtb-ktm-factory-fuel-pump-connection/
  21. Figured I get this started and out there.... As mentioned in the other thread (Tuesday McCains) Friday morning, meet McCain day use area at the Oak Tree, 0900 start. I'd be ok with PV as well, if that would be preferred instead.

    Friday Feb 27 McCain

Still moisture in the dirt out there. Very little dust and good traction.
  23. Great ride!! 342 miles via GPS, the bike ODO had 35X something. My throttle hand is so fatigued I've lost partial motor control of it! Thanks to all the organizers for the hard work to put this event on. Didn't take too many pics, I guess we were too busy riding. Seth's bent rear brake lever 5 mins out of camp on Saturday morning. Almost ended the ride real quick! Mind you this happened again later that morning. Seth did a bang up job bending it back, still looks factory!! (kind of) Bike porn in Fish Creek Flat rear tire on Hal's BMW GS450X that he made quick work of.
