  1. David, that is the very top of Lusardi, Gopro captured our ride back down the hill. It was an interesting ride. I think at least three pretty new bikes got their first "Baja stripes" during this ride. Glad everyone walked away, especially Scott, who's wiped out could have ended in much worse injuries.
  2. I think about you often brother. Hang in there and get well soon so we can go for a ride.

    New guy in Kearny Mesa

Nice bike, welcome to the board, and thanks for your service. Best way to get involved in this sport is to just dump in on one of the rides posted by members. Enjoy.
  4. Try right clicking on the pic, then click open
  5. Copy. Glad they caught up with ya. Have fun and keep it on two wheels...that seemed to be a challenge for some today.
  6. David, they are still enroute. I had to leave them around SYTT and Black Mtn because I ran out of time, so I headed home. They are still out there riding...
  7. wrenching on my 530 now, it's out of comish. Might hop on the 950 though. If I make it, I'll just be doing a hot lap.
  8. Paste doesn't work for me either. For example, if I write something in Word, cut it, and then attempt to paste it in a thread, it won't work. I've tried all three of the paste options.
  9. I'm a possible for a couple hours of roosting...

Good to know, thanks for passing it on.
  11. Your supervisory skills are very similar to PMB's. I'm glad you guys were there for my boy. Yes, and luckily I didn't break the bead the "easy" way you did last time! Well, not everyone can dismount a tire while they are actually riding their bike like I can. But if you practice really hard, maybe some day you will be able to too...
  12. Nice loop. There were several ways you could have added a lot more dirt to that ride if you wanted to though.
  13. Glad you guys had a great trip. Hopefully Eric was paying attention the last time I showed him how to repair a flat tire...
  14. Sounds like an amazing adventure. Thanks for taking the time to share it with us.
  15. BS, thanks for the consideration, but I just realized I have training next Thursday so don't change your plans for me.
  16. So what's the plan for Thursday???
  17. It's got to be a computer settings issue then. IT, any help here??
  18. Well, at least you gave me hope!
  19. Yeah, they were closed because of last weeks storm. I would have expected them to be open by now though...bummer. Anyway, the USFS website (local) has gate information but it is not current and can not be counted on. The only way to get real time info that I know of is to actually call the forest service office in Ramona (for local trails).
  20. Very cool. I've always wanted to do something similar. Kids taking all my time right now though.
  21. There is a gate at the top unfortunately, which prevents you from connecting with the top of Palomar (the observatory). However, you can loop back down to the 79 if you want instead of just retracing your steps. There are some decent trails in the area of Warner Springs and Anza that provide for an opportunity to put a loop together. Look for members to post up rides in that area and jump in.
  22. I'm working on a Thursday ride....Braaaaaaaaaaap
  23. I tried quote and multi quote...no workie for me... Any advise? Maybe settings on my end. I'm running Win 7
