I'll be running a Pirelli Scorpion up front & a MT43 in the rear Ditto... I had a feeling you guys would be running those....and since you guys know more about this ride then I do, I might go that route as well...

I've yet to find the right tire for my 530 for the riding I do. I'm going to throw a new set of shoes on before the Bar 10, just not sure what yet. These seem nice but just not aggressive enough for me (i.e. lots of desert riding)...but for the price, and the positive review, I'll probably give them a shot one of these days.

Damn you...I'm right here!! Sorry bro, total last minute thing...Did I mention how epic the traction was everywhere...not to enough rain to make mud, but just enough moisture to rip up the trails and power slide the 950 into every corner without the worry of washing out... OMG, so fun...

I just got back from a solo ride. I checked doppler prior to leaving with the sole intention of finding the worst (i.e. most adventurous) weather in San Diego to ride in....it was a blast.

It would have not affected the Mousse. In fact, that is the advantage to them....eating nails like that for breakfast. However, there are several disadvantages to them, including: They are a PITA to change, they wear out, they are expensive, and they are not adjustable like air pressure....IMO

Sounds like a cool idea.

I rode with a guy last weekend who has the exact bike the CID just posted, including color (FZ09)...I was very impressed with it.

The eagle has landed! 1,061 miles in under 17 hours. Piece of cake. That's my 8th or 9th 1k mile day. Whew! That's just crazy!! Don't you get sore at all? or do you just power through it??
