  5. So since I sold my Gamin Montana to good ol (old) Arnie I no longer have use of E32 Maps, which im finding out now is the best baja GPS maps there (of course this is my opinion). So I either BEG Arnie to sell me back the Montana, unlikely, go buy another one, unlikelier or ask all you expertos what sotware/gps's you use. I want one for my Rhino and 4x4 when adventuring down south way so would like a screen size at least the size of the Montana. The Maps that E32 offer are awesome but pricey. I currently use the DeLorme InReach Explorer and Delorme map. Which is not very detailed at all. I do get to sync it with my Android/Sumsung Note 5 for an awesome image/screen but just isn't the same. I don't ride anymore but do take the Rhino out and drive the truck down south but don't want to spend 1,000.00's on a Lowrance. Thoughts/Suggestions/???

    Baja Mapping Software/GPS?

Hey all, stuck in class this week LOL!! I have the Inreach Explorer and I use the Bluetooth connection to my Note 5. GREAT display. The maps can get you from lost to unlost but the detail in BAja just is not there. I loved the E32 Map on the Garmin platform was hoping there was something comparable but really seems there isn't. will write more later

  12. Hi Eric!! How you doing?! Glad to see your still at it! When we did our long trip couple years back, Francisquito was our favorite stop! It's remote and fantastic! The rooms are awesome, or they were, not sure if they were damaged in the storm last year or not. I probably still have the tracks. It was our farthest south stop. Definately make it there!!
  13. Yeah I know this is a bike forum but hoping someone here has some knowledge in this area :) Now that im getting around these days on 4 wheels rather than the awesome and way more fun two. We are talking about taking the Rhino down to Mike's for a weekend. Anyone do this or know folks who have? Where do you park the trailer and unload/stage? On the US side or Mexico side? Anything special to worry about with the ATV's since they are not street legal like the bikes are? Thanks!

  24. So I am ready to pull the trigger on a new truck (well used but new to me). I have narrowed my search down to two possibilities. 1) 2011 F250 Lariat Gas 6.2L 2) 2012 F250 Lariat 6.7 Power Stroke Turbo all other items being equal...I.e. exterior, tire, interior options, odometer mileage, Transmission. Price is within 4grand difference so not really a concern at this point. I have never owned a diesel before but the torque is amazing and difficult to ignore. Especially if we end up going 5th toy box route later. Looking for some thoughts good and bad on both? Anyone have actual experience with these trucks? I have looked at going for a new 2014 but even with all the rebates I could find its still will over 55k. I just cant justify that for a truck that won't be a daily driver.

Buying new truck....looking for opinions on these two......
