  1. I recorded a video of the overgrown two track. That trail was a blast!
  2. Last check before I load up the bike. Is the ride still on?
  3. Is you have tracks, can you send them to me ahead of time?
  4. This sounds interesting. I may be able to make it.
  5. Look how much I'm helping!! I bet Kato couldn't have changed that tire without me.
  6. Great ride guys! Thanks for organizing this trip Ken, I think we all had a blast! Here's a little video of us coming up north on the beach in the Erendia area. Nothing too exciting. Link to video Here's another of the road to the place we camped on the beach Also, looks like it's almost artichoke season!
  7. You're making it really hard for me to say no to Friday!
  8. I'll post when I decide what I'm doing. I probably won't know until tonight though.
  9. I'm in 100% for Saturday but might get talked into showing up on Friday night. My headlight isn't the brightest though (kinda like me). Any idea on the weather at Veronica and where we will be beach partying?
  10. I'm pretty sure I am heading down Saturday morning.
  11. Hey Ken! That sounds like a good time. Awesome to ride with you again. I might meet up with you guys on Saturday morning, not sure though. Since we're doing percentages, put me down for 83.2% 100%
  12. I'm in! I'm taking my 990 Adventure. I'm not sure if I'll be staying the night at Veronica so if anyone wants to make it a day trip, we can talk. Can't wait for cold Pacificos and lobster!
  13. Yup! That was me. Nice chatting with you guys!
  14. Yup! Dana is Stevodadevo and Stevodadevo is Dana. It must have been a long day for KKug. I came around the corner and he was taking a nap. Sea of red... Trusty stead... Lots of amazing views in the track KKug took me on. Thanks again!!
  15. Great ride! Mind sharing the GPS tracks?
  16. Final flat count... 12! Oh man, what an amazing ride that was! We had ZERO mechanical issues. It was really awesome seeing all the far away places and kind, gentle people of Baja. 3,116 miles total! I can't wait to go back...
  17. Hello fellow Baja lovers, We're making a run down to Cabo in April next year. Basically following with Baja 1000 course with changes to avoid the difficult parts. Who likes 50 miles of whoops? We plan on about 200-300 miles per day and are doing about 85% off-road. It should take us 5 or 6 days to get to the tip, depending on the route and, like real men, we are riding back as well. Currently there are three of us that are committed but the more the merrier! We are doing this on Adventure bikes, KTM 990s. All riders welcome as long as you like tacos and beer and have a good attitude. I've spent a lot of time in Baja but have never made a trip this far south. I'm already excited and it's 4-5 months away! Please reply to this thread of send me a PM if you are interested. UPDATE: Dates are going to 4/6 - 4/20 (return is flexible, might be sooner). UPDATE: We will be arriving in Ensenada on 4/18. You can continue on to the states if you must be back early. UPDATE: I will have my SPOT tracker on me. Here's the link if you would like to follow along: http://dneisler.whereamiriding.com We leave on Saturday morning so it will be active then.
  18. Yes, we rode mostly slab from San Felipe to Gonzaga. Maybe the last 4 miles were dirt. There is a really nice dirt detour section closer to the coast that you can take. The detour is about 5 or 6 miles long and has some really nice rolling hills.
  19. Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a big bike friendly (KTM 990) way to get from San Felipe to Bay of LA off-road. I know the main road is now paved just about all the way and I don't feel like droning on for 200 miles. I'm aware of the "old" road that leaves San Felipe at the edge of town but I think that is used as part of the race course. The last time I was on it, it was beat up! Huge whoops and sand. Maybe I could pick up that road further south, maybe at Percebu? Thoughts?
  20. 10 Flats? So Pumped? Well, I hope you have one of those electric pumps because you would have run out of CO2 by now. We carry the little Slime pumps. Heading to Walmart to get a bigger one now.
  21. Just pulled into Cabo!! 10 flats on the way down!! So pumped!!
