    1927 farm truck project

The roof and cab are made of wood and then covered with sheet metal. You can still see the wood on the roof because it has not yet been covered. It will be covered with a black, waterproof material later. Ross Brock lives in Claremont and I call him a “boat man” who specializes in wood decks, cabins, and now stake beds. He is a board member of the Motor Transport Museum in Campo. I don’t think he has a website but he is a perfectionist.

3 years into this project.. finally getting to the stake bed! That's Ross Brock the wood artiste.
  6. Back in the day, long gone XR500. Never realized how LOW that seat height was. (I think that David Lindley shirt is long gone too!)
  7. Should be a toasty 101 degrees in Tecate next Saturday. Better at the coast. No lobster, fish? http://www.foodhoe.com/2015/05/a-seafood-feast-in-popotla-bc/
  8. That's me on the Scrambler. Never again! Bought the XR right after that lobster run!

    Sunday Ride 6/24

This works. One horse gate that opens. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1kXOGMoKHDeRjWBMX8nUfaURFxNv2P5wq&usp=sharing
  11. Welcome to the forum! This one's coming next year but not cheap.

    Spur Meadow Loop

Pretty fun 24 mile loop. I took a solo run today. I might take my noob friend but he might eat it on the torn up rocky sections. Looking west:

    Spur Meadow Loop

Is this loop do-able or are there gates around the southern sections? https://drive.google.com/open?id=1XZleP2Vw0FRJXwdH9ppU1b1f8RP0_C2D&usp=sharing I have a noob friend who is much less experienced at stalling and flooding his dualsport than I am, so... how does Spur Meadow compare to, say, Kernan Cycle trail? Is Spur easier than rocky Kernan? Thx.
  14. Mark's initial advice was spot on. It needed a valve adjust. Starts first kick now.

    Spur Meadow Loop

OK got it. No gates. North Spur Meadow is bit rocky. Thanks!
  17. Nice scenery! Reminds me of Idyllwild. Creeks still flowing, I see.

  19. I stopped by your house on the way to Campo for lunch but you must have been mine hopping. Maybe next time.
  20. Yeah, #fucktheflood. Thanks for your help, Paul, and whoever that sweep rider was pushing me. And... since I don't speak a lick of Spanish I was under the mistaken impression that this ride was headed to Lake Domingo (from the OP title), i.e. East Campo. LOL! Now I get it. Domingo = SUNDAY! I ended up solo at Lake Domingo anyway. Just me and my 360 cam: Loop around the lake. (for some reason it defaults to a crappy resolution. try changing it to 1080 in the lower right corner)
  21. Thanks for the assistance with the bump start! Eating lunch in Campo now.

    My new ride

    Love that bike! Have fun.
  23. In. I may peel off to Campo on the way back.
