I'm starting to feel a little bit bad about accusing him of being a closet tree hugger 😪🤐
  3. Does anyone know of anything cool ever being uncovered after something like this? I think of how many lost wallets and keys (and recently we had a lost (and then found!) phone here) I have seen or heard about over the years. Just seems like there could be a good story or three out there.

    Seattle Supercross Cancelled\Re-scheduled.

This is getting so overblown and is affecting so many industries. Hopefully people will slow down a bit (fighting over toilet paper; really?) and come to their senses. With no intention to downplay the virus, common sense goes a long way and panic is not the answer.

    Splitting 2 piece wheel

Working on cleaning up an old '82 Honda 185S and some bonehead decided it would be a good idea to silicone/RTV the wheel halves together. I've tried prying, utility knife, heat gun, swearing, kicking, and sawzall with no luck. Anyone have any suggestions on what might work or melts silicone/RTV? I am not 100% certain what they used; it is grey and still somewhat pliable. Thanks!

    Splitting 2 piece wheel

Saw that last night on my CL search, Jim That thing is hammered and I'm not sure I'd use much of it if he gave it to me! Does look like he has an old Supertrap pipe on it that did catch my attention though. Thank you for posting!
  14. First time out (many years ago) on my XR I run into and old buddy on a 426 Yamaha. I start following him and soon we are running a ridge line, then he drops down, so I follow. I try to shift into second gear and miss, going down the hill in neutral and too scared to try and find a higher gear. Found out when we got to the bottom we had just gone down shell reef-I won't forget that! I never lead (always sweep in my group-when I get to ride) so always follow and never know where I am or where we are going. I've been down some stuff that seemed sketchy and wonder if HAH was one of them. It looks slippery more than anything, and like you could overshoot a turn or two pretty quickly. Seems like I read somewhere that you can't (or aren't supposed to) go up it?

    Oh the pain!

Birthmarks don't go away; that will. I'd be more worried about that huge ring of hair growing out of your knee cap!!!
  16. How long is heart attack hill? I don't know if I have ever been down it and it is really hard to tell from videos.

    Quad for Mrs simicrintz

Since I have been working on my old 185S three wheeler, now Mrs simicrintz wants it I tried to teach her to ride (had a CRF 150 for her) a while back and she lacks confidence and I was afraid she would get hurt. I don't honestly feel much better putting her on 3 wheels, so I am now considering a four wheeler for her. I am not in any kind of hurry, but if a good deal comes along and you guys hear about it (and don't want it!) I would appreciate hearing about it also. I'll hit CL and see what they may have but I trust you guys more! I'm thinking something in the 400 CC range just to be safe. Thank you!!

Hadn't thought of that really...... Now you guys are saving me money!!

    Quad for Mrs simicrintz

Thank you, Tom and Randy, for the 400EX input; that sounds like exactly what should do the trick! I have always hated quads (I equate them to jet skis-everyone thinks they can ride them and then they are just dangerous people on machines they really cannot control) so I am very uneducated about them. Since I know that the three wheelers took a bit of skill to stay relatively safe on, I really do not want to put her on one of them. She has ridden a quad at her Dad's place up in Montana and she seemed to like it, and I just see it as a now and then putt-putt ride. I like that she is good with getting dirty and doing something that I enjoy, but I gotta keep her safe!

    Quad for Mrs simicrintz

A man who I respect very much often asks "but did it kill you?". Many hours-and one broken collar bone-on three wheelers with so much enjoyment. I'll be careful and respectful, but the motorcycle lifestyle that we have chosen has its risks, as we all know and accept Ride on, my brothers!

    Quad for Mrs simicrintz

Planning on that too, Kug! There is so much open riding in Utah and the options are endless; some days 2 wheels will be the ticket, some days me bouncing along on the 185S and Mama on a quad, some days ripping around on a RZR, some days exploring in the Jeep and some days taking the boat to the lake I have 50 years of work (so far) that has not let me ride nearly as much as I'd like, so I have a lot of catching up to do!

I'm not sure what I'm looking for, Tom! I've always been a red guy (never owned a Suzuki anything!) so I will have to Google what the heck that is! Keep me posted (PM me or simicrintz@yahoo.com); thank you!
