this might be a dumb question, but are stabilizers bike specific? on road/off road also? Could they be adapted to different bikes? TIA

i've used the rebate a few times, works great if you are patient. i got 2 qualifying rain collection barrels and replaced a bunch of sprinklers to the rotating ones on the list. I originally was going to get half of the estimated return, had to call them a few times before it was corrected to the full amount.

Awesome! Recently we did talk about organizing a shoot and scoot type ride. Putt putt around the mountains and find a good spot to unload some brass. Not too sure if I will be able to join this ride, but hopefully soon we could get a few riders to do a shooting ride.

Sure is. Tonight's meetup is at 2 different bars, Cafe Racers at one and the Scooter folks at another. Tomorrow night is a mixed event, that is a lot of fun! Sunday morning is a few different rides- Long and Short Cafe Racers and a separate Scooter ride. All rides end up at Hooleys Sunday morning and have a bike show and prizes. Very fun event, Sunday is a family event with tons of kids. Modern bikes are also able to join the ride as long as they are old school looking like Ducati's Monsters and Sport Classics, sport bikes really not so much. I have seen vintage enduros/scramblers.

I finally took a quick 3 hour trip to putt around Otay this past Sunday. Had no idea Otay was so open. I did notice that there were tons of quads and non plated bikes around. Excellent idea! I'm in. But can't really put a ride together since I actually never been in one-yet. I did ask a cop a few years back on motorcycle gun transport, his words were "depends on how much of a d**k wants to be since it's not clearly written". They way I see it, as long as the guns are locked and the mags not loaded- no problem. I doubt there will be any issue with carrying all together with ammo in a bag that way. Unless we do Mad Max style and mount a shotgun or AR to the front forks, doubt there will be issues.

Oh wow, that's a hell of a rifle! Ah, so never a SDAR event. Think it would be pretty cool to have a "ride and shoot" event. Ride out to somewhere allowed and just have a blast with a few handguns. I usually go to Dulzura BLM and have a blast and sometimes see a few riders cruise by. figured it would be pretty fun ride to stop for a bit and shoot off a few rounds.

Oh man, just read all the battery offers. Thanks! Need to order a trustworthy battery anyway, I believe it is still the stock one. Time for a change. Since this ride was cancelled, hopefully we could try this again soon.

was going to try to jump in on this one since it is in my hood, but better try to join the julian noob ride since it will be my first ride out with this group and that bike! i'll keep an eye out for the otay noob ride, dying to go on that now! have fun!

possibly in! this will be my first ride with this group and first ride on my (new to me) Husky. Just need to clear it with the wifey first, we have a two week old newborn at the house along with a 2 year old dare devil toddler. missed all of december rides due to being on delivery standby!

apparently I signed up for this site back in 2011! I always wanted a dual sport and must of been looking then. Well fast forward a few years later I finally pulled the trigger on a '11 Husky TE449. Getting out of sport bikes and this is more my styles. Hopefully I could catch a few South Bay folks for some rides!.
