  1. Hello SDAR's, Posting my first ride in the forums for this weekend. Details: Date:2/12/2011 Time: 9:30 a.m. meet at the Four Corners Staging Area and park/ride from there. Level: Novice/intermediate. This will be a casual ride to explore and learn the area. This is my first time to Corral Canyon and the speed will be slow to moderate. Stops will be made for scenery and photos. More advanced/experienced riders are welcome just expect to take some stops and travel at a speed to just explore. No plans to ride any expert level trails. Please bring tubes and tools for tire repairs etc. Also bring any water or food you would need for about a 3 hour ride. After riding the beginning part of the day, I hope to take a break and decide if the group would like to continue. For first timers to Corral Canyon like myself, you should call the ranger station for more info. You will need an Adventure Pass for the day. Non-registered bikes require green or red stickers. The phone number for more information is: 619 445 6235. I hope to see you there and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks JCC
  2. Hey Spyder great photos and write up. Thanks again for showing us some excellent lookout points too. What a great first ride for me! I learned a lot real quick! That river shot was perfect Nice try smalltank I cannot believe your bike shut down otherwise you had a great line. Let's plan another one soon. Maybe somewhere where there are not so many feds running around:coolio: JCC

Thanks for your patience and leading a great ride! We will have to plan another one soon. I think I might invest in some better tread, those trailwings are sketchy. After we got back Kolani ran into a friend who has a track one mile from where we started. So we went out and rode the track for about an hour actually took a couple of jumps!! We were thinking of posting a combo ride including the track. Kolani's friend has a fee that he would reduce if we brought a group to ride the track. Just another idea...I am not sure if people will have an interest or not to ride the track. We will have to post and see. I will be in touch and thanks again for a fun ride. Jason 619 884 2855

I actually bought my bike out in Ramona. I would like to come out and ride there sometime. Like you said not too far of a ride from U.C.

Thanks Matt. I hope to ride Otay. It sounds like a good start. Maybe we can organize it one of these weekends?
  7. Greeting...I am new to SDAR. I am excited about getting out and riding some trails. I have owned my DRZ400 for about 6 months now and itching to get off the pavement a bit. I recently purchase my protective gear and looking for other beginner/intermediate riders interested in organizing some rides. Contact me if your interested and lets put something together. Thanks, JCC
