  1. Hello I am replacing a starter sprag / freewheel on my KTM 950 adv 2005 . I believe a m20 bolt is needed to remove the flywheel I know some of you have /had these bikes and may have this bolt . If I could borrow or purchase said bolt that would be great . Any other wisdom on what to check would be appreciated. I have checked voltage ,the relay clicks, connections are clean and tight and the starter spins without engaging. Thanks I am in North County

  2. It was a great weekend perfect weather not to windy. I was a dummy for leaving the spot I saw Tom and Kato up on the ridge sorry guys hindsight is 20/20 . Working my way back to camp while keeping and eye out Tom and Kato I got a rear flat and slowed considerably. As I got to camp my riding partners were leaving to look for me thanks for your concern and sorry to make you worry. All in all I had a great time met some fine people and got to ride my old KTM 300 in the open dessert Thanks everyone

  3. Beniflas is correct , my truck has a bed mounted tool box and would not pass I also believe campers and camper shells are not allowed You pay a fee for each vehicle you have in the program and if you are traveling W/ people without sentri you can get inline have them get out and walk across and pick them up state side .You can go to the GOES website and get all the info you need . I go to the house in Ensenada alot and it saves  time.

  4. I do not have any recommendations but I do have one to avoid , Chicago Title . A few years ago I paid them $1100 to do a title search on 5 acres I was looking to purchase in central Ca. their search turned up nothing . About 6 mos. later I found out through the county that there were 2 key issues . I contacted them and got a major run around finally to be told to file suit or pound sand , their incompetence cost me $3800

  5. I have a Turn Tech and 2 Shorai batteries and have had good luck W/ both . I had to use the Shorai warranty on one but I think the problem was W/ my KTM stator going bad . Now I see that Turn Tech Joe has closed up shop , I don't know why he had a quality product .

  6. New suspension, tires, tubes, rims, battery, spark plug, gaskets, tires, wiring, mirrors, radiators, hoses and complete service and registration paid on the bike - all I need are 3 stinking o-rings!

My 03 KTM 525 has these (3) very skinny o-rings where the fuel inlet goes into the carb (so that it can swivel) but KTM only wants to sell a whole carb kit for close to $100 and that hurts my wallet. I went to all the automotive and hardware stores in Ramona and I did find some metric o-rings but they are still too fat and do not work. I tried using a smaller size hoping they would stretch and be thinner but no go.

I looked online and found they might be size 7 x 1.2 mm or a Doorman #80020 but this is not confirmed.

Any idea where I can find a good assortment of metric o-rings in SD locally? This is putting a crimp in my DD plans.

You can try Real Seal Co. in Escondido 760 743 7263 it is off auto park way
