Great ride write ups, beautiful area. We have fished and camped at Tuttle creek and drove the truck through Alabama hills. We always seem to be there when there is a freak hot spell and it would be unbearible to ride bikes. If you plan another trip and/ or have tracks please let us know, we are in IF the temps are below 95.

Sorry you are having bike issues, mine is being cranky also but at this point it is just fine tuning (I hope) I don't have a KTM but when our bikes had similar problems it was the valves, you do have alot of hours on that bike. Maybe just need to shim and you can get a few more hours out of it. Thank goodness you have a trusty back up. I'm riding my crf 250/290 so not alot of speed for me but I love that bike.

Ian, are you camping with your new camper? That is the best ? Tent camper I have ever seen. See you Thurs.

Cool, we have another Deb who rides! Come by the wooded area with all the tents, we will be there thursday morning, some people wednesday night. Chris, it looks like I have 3 bikes in my tundra already, but you are welcome to ride up with me if you can get a ride for your bike somehow. I am leaving wednesday after work, probably drive to mesquite and the rest of the way thursday morning early. I mighht end up with only two bikes, if so I think I could fit yours, you are bringing your small bike, right?

I am soooo looking forward to this ride. Deb we will be there Thurs. afternoon RV space #7. Can't wait to meet everyone and explore new trails.

We are riding Zion July 19, first ride since broken hand in Nov. if all goes well, we can do a Kennedy Meadows trip Aug. or Sept. with you. Mimi wish you could join us in Utah.

Nice report, great photos. This area is on our bucket list, we have explored that area in the truck but would rather explore it on the bikes.

Bought one for my Husband , he no longer needs that 30 lb. backpack! Looking for something similar for my bike. Anyone know if there is a pack for a Honda 250 X ?

My husband and I just booked an RV site. Is there any place to ride non-plated bikes?

We will be at Ocotillo Fri. Night thru Tues. Not sure where we will be camping but Jeff and I will look for your camp.

I'm not real familiar with the area but since it is a long drive for one day maybe a camp weekend would be fun. My husband and I have always wanted to help out. ( no black diamonds for me) but happy to do anything else. I will do my best to get some more people interested if we can get some more details. Dec. 3 is the best date for us.
