Started dirt biking as a kid(1974 Honda XR75)on the dry lakes surrounding Big Bear, CA. Rode a street bike (1984 Yamaha Maxim XS400) in college, now am getting back into motorcycles after a long break. Experimenting with dual sporting in preparation to tour Mexico & South America on my '02 Suzuki DR-Z400s. Now own a 2012 Triumph Scrambler. Have been riding more and more and getting more comfortable riding it in the dirt (it's a heavy bike). Interested in riding graded dirt to slightly more challenging routes in and around CA and Baja. Into long tours and camping. Anyone interested in this type of riding should contact me. I consider myself an intermediate rider. Not into riding anything too fast, too steep or too rocky.
