Yeah, the older Orange bikes seem to grenade fairly easy when pinned at redline a lot (seen 1/2 dozen in the last year in person). Cost a wad of cash to fix too! Hoping the new ones are more bombproof. Never owned orange, but i want Estart, plate, trails, and go fast... Soo....

AAA Here. I have them for my homeowners insurance, car insurance, bike insurance. Get a pretty hefty discount having them all rolled into one. Plus, their office is a block from my house! A CLAIM: Last year, i laid my street bike down to avoid a jackass on his cell phone. They cut me a check and let me fix the bike myself! Winning!

Hey Guys Registered for this site back in 2006, met a ton of great people, and did some epic riding.. Work, life, and injuries got in the way, but now its time to ride again... Name is Kevin. Don't currently own a dual sport, but will be picking one up in the next month or so.. I was breezing through some posts/pics and realized i am Facebook friends with a bunch of you already! Wasup Stranger... Yes, i got a little better offroad.. Raced MX ONCE, won first race, got cocky, had biggest most epic crash to date thinking i was Rozcen for a second.. Retired riding MX that same day! Went out a winner! I've been doing some Plaster City and Ocotillo stuff with some old desert racing buddies of mine.. Blew up one of my 450s bouncing off the revlimiter! Its a blast, but i really miss the trail riding!

I own 3 bikes.. I have been a jap bike guy my whole life, prefer the reliability and parts availability over the exotic stuff. I am however contemplating going Orange shortly... Hmmm. 2011 Hayabusa: I am 6'4" and it was the most comfy bike i could find to ride for any length of time. Have since lost interest in street riding and this will be up for sale soon! 2006 YZ450F Desert Bike: Simple, bombproof motor, gobs of power, starts first kick every time. 2006 YZ450F Supermoto Race Bike: Same reason, bombproof motor with tons of low end grunt, starts first kick every time, spare parts for days on ebay! I LOVE My (2) YZ450's but looking to race some D38 stuff, and some more big bear trips. Been reading up on what might be my best option for months, and the new KTM EXC500 seems to be the right choice. Never owned orange before, but after a few gnarly crashes carthweeling down the track, my knee isnt what it used to be and i want the magic button! Oh.. and the plate too!

Hey Guys Kevin here. Long time no talk.. Its been forever!! Got caught up in other activities, work, life, etc.. Oh, and Supermoto, got really addicted to Supermoto! Anyway... I bought an 06 YZ450F as a back up racebike for my Supermoto. Friend talked me into bringing it to Ocotillo, and i had a BLAST!!!! Forgot how much fun dirt was... So... Instead of backup Supermoto race bike, this is now being converted into a desert bike.. Got the GPR Stabilizer on there yesterday, as well as the Garmin GPS. Big Clarke tank should be here this week, then some tires, then TIME TO RIDE! How has everyone been? Anyone remember me? Kevin

Thanks. Yeah.. Found this on Craigslist for a STEAL! Bike had less then 20 hours total on it.. NEW.. I attempted a Motocross race at Pala, was able to pull out a win in my class (Beg Vet30) but i am too old for that ---- and its not for me! Ha! George at Suspension 101 has set this bike up and it is SWEET!! George is the man!

Hey Guys Just got back from the best riding i have done west of the mississippi! Huge thanks to DesFox and Crawdaddy for their GPS files! Also, HUGE thanks to JohnnyBags for showing us around! Great time! We covered about 170 miles of dirt, no crashes, no flats, no breaks! GOOD TIMES! We got up there Weds afternoon, set up camp at Serrano (awesome campground BTW). Woke up earlier Thurs AM and headed out using Crawdaddy's Lolipop GPS file! We ended up going all the way to Tip Top mountain, crab flats, etc.. Good trails, high speed stuff. We rode back over the 18, through John Bull, and through Holcomb Valley back to camp! Good Times! Had lunch, headed out again, using Debs file for the big ride coming up, entered on Mill Creek, rode south and just rode as fast as we could getting lost (on purpose). Had a freaking blast! Rode for 6 hours! Friday, met up with Johnny Bags and he showed us some cool single track and all the nice stuff on the south side of the lake. Hey Guys We changed our trip to Bishop to Big Bear instead. I downloaded some of CRAWDADDY's files on ADV Rider and they look great. Anyone have anything else? We will be up there for 4 days and looking for as much info as possible. We will be on a XR650L and a DR650, both modified, large gas tanks, intermediate riders. Interested in any type of riding, nothing too hardcore. Thanks a bunch! Trip report will follow.
