I just got home from the airport, getting ready to unpack. That ride Sunday morning was great. Y'all are tremendously blessed with wonderful riding areas and some really good (and patient) folks to ride them with. Parts of me are still sore 3 days later. TrophyHunter - I can't thank you enough Ken for generously loaning me your WR450 and the helmet w/ comm as well as all the other hospitality you showed to me. I hope to someday get the opportunity to return the kindness. Many thanks to Bikeslut for setting up the ride and taking photos - even if you did post the embarrassing ones Bob. I also appreciated FakeName, Bikeslut and others building my confidence by sharing with me (it seemed like almost every time we stopped) their stories about someone wiping out and having to be life-flighted off or painfully hauled in the bed of a truck down the particular trail(s) we were about to ride on.

I am packed up (riding gear takes up most of my suitcase ) and ready to roll to the airport. See y'all bright and early Sunday morning. Floyd

Wow. I just spotted this thread. Here's my intro from about a month ago - Greetings from Texas. I ride (and eat) with Two Wheel Texans, but I'm also on ThumperTalk (mostly the YZ450 sub-forum) and ADVRider (there I'm "PinkFloyd") Bikeslut and TrophyHunter have very generous in helping me get set up to ride with y'all. My shop here in Texas has none (they don't stock much it seems) and it's on national backorder for another 5 weeks. Do we have any Yamaha parts guys here who might help me get a line on one? Thanks.

I think it's CFS (Chicken Fried Steak), although I like a good medium-rare grilled ribeye better. Seen a few Camaros wrapped around phone poles, especially back in my law enforcement days. Bikeslut - I will have an extra day (Sunday, July 18) to do something fun. If you can get me set up with an extra machine, I'd be happy to pack my riding gear and join up with y'all.

Howdy. I'm an East Texan (from Tyler) who's fortunate enough to get to come out to lovely San Diego occasionally for conferences and such. I ride both street and dirt (current bikes are both Yammies, FJR1300 and YZ450F. I just sold my Tiger). If you look up "DaJudge" on the TWT (Two-Wheeled Texans) Forums, that's me. Cheers.
