That's cool, if that was here someone would be offended, think of the lizards and weeds and pollution and whatever else that was impacted by his motorcycles. Oh the horror. Cool name too.

Holy moly, I have a bike like that, but mine is to chicken to try any of that stuff. -
All the way down on brake pedal I could feel the pads move just barely with my fingers. I haven't bought this type of parts before, any sources, or local brick and mortar shops recommendations would be appreciated.

No on pump up, I lengthened the rod and that worked, so yes what I will try next is new pads. Thank You,

Amateur Suspension tuning does not end well

Boy I remember those days when the S shined brightly on my chest, especially when I was riding the dunes. Nothing like that deep bone snapping noise to dim that S. Now it takes lots of liquor to get the S to even light up. Heal well young man, take the drugs and take it slow, heal right the first time. Reach out if you need anything, -
Wasn't there a ruling this week that all bicycle trails are now open to electric bicycles? Maybe only in the forest, I wonder how blurry the definition is?

Stripped front axle nut-help please
Uncle Champ replied to simicrintz's topic in Wheels, Tires, Chains & Sprockets
I think the bolt is reuseable, better pack it in case of emergency -
Stripped front axle nut-help please
Uncle Champ replied to simicrintz's topic in Wheels, Tires, Chains & Sprockets
OK I watched the video, its a bolt not a nut? So I would think the shoulder corroded a bit and bound up (dissimilar metals). Cut a groove and use a shock screwdriver tool , the kind you hit with a hammer, maybe. Reverse drill bit down the center maybe. Cut off flush and take the axle out and take it to a machine shop? -

I would cut the nut off now. Pictures? -
Quick Spin.....reclaiming my groove
Uncle Champ replied to Crawdaddy's topic in 1 to 3 Day Ride Write-Ups, Stories and Photos
I think the throttle rev doo hickey is to change the rattling vibration, can't see out of the mirrors at any speed, much less stopped. Can't even get your teeth close to each other at freeway speed because they will vibrate and chatter together (bad for fillings), shifting is a joy too , CLUNK, no question it's in gear. The bike was a piece of art but the engineering was WW2. I'm just not cool enough nor mature enough for a bike like that. By the way gas mileage was around 25MPG with Fuel injection, etc etc. -

Purty, them purty ones ain't never cheap to maintain. More under the hood = more fuel. When I lost my mind temporarily and tried Harley it got horrible gas mileage, and no it had nothing to do with how I rode it. Honest.
