I have been to this part of nevada about 4-5 times with the 800 and the 500 . The routes were from friends on ADV rider . Once in awile we just follow some random route on a GPS . I realy like to set up a basecamp and roam sometime . Mostly open BLM land .

Ooops -I have the IMS 3 gal tank. Van got one of the first IMS 4.5 gal tanks .

X3 - Thanks Paul no one can say it any better . One thing that erks some of the members is that no one realy knows what this Fourm realy cost. I had a Meet Up group and it was $180 a year . Is it $1000 -$4000 -$10,000 Are people taking $$$$ out of their pocket to keep it going ? Some Ideal might help people on the fence kick in . That said I am going to pay up .

We drove up to Nevada City to meet up with Jaun Browne "Blancolirio " of You Tube Fame .We got a tour of the Gold History of Nevada City Ca . Then on Sunday he led us on some single track of the area . We spent all day and into the evening visiting Historic sites and watering holes .

I went one time and it was fun. I see they also have Moto GP watch partys. I might be interested in that sometime .

Yes -- I used to go a lot .as the years go on they start adding the side shows. Jason ,Deb and others went a few years back. We had a good laugh. The Speedway racing comes and goes .Some time it is realy exciting racing. It still has a cult following. Costa Meas used to be the place to go. Big crowds ,a lot of girls in dresses, that was the days before social Media . We should try a club outing up their sometime .

I am going to be working but I will be thinking of Schwinn !

Most Baja roads are rutted in spots and probley only get graded every few years . They constantly change with rainfall . They can be done with a large dual sport bike but at a slower rate .
