Covered in Dust replied to Bagstr's topic in Informal Local Rides & Who's Going Riding!
Well I’ve missed the last 47 rides so I might be the new old guy. Still not bringing any Coors lite. CiD Hope my truck starts in the morning, it’s been giving me problems.. -

Just finished my Christmas light install. I read that hard wiring is the way to go. -
I’ve never just left them on, just deflate then remove.

Well I’ve had my deposit in on the T7 for almost a year now. Just 6 more months until it hits. I’ll keep my 950 Adventure until then. CiD

T700 Yamaha Adventure
Covered in Dust replied to Suspenders's topic in Info About Motorcycle Brands & Models
I don’t mean any disrespect, I’ve owned 2 950/990 Adventures and while they can be ridden off road and very well by some I don’t consider them “Off Road Bikes”. Just my 2 cents. You’re experience may vary. I don’t at this time consider the T700 an off road bike. My hope is it’s a great ADV bike that is good off road. CiD -

This looks interesting https://electrek.co/2019/11/05/segway-unveils-electric-dirt-bike-sur-ron/

I’m thinking about the Sur Ron also. They are sort of the same bike but Segway says they have made improvements. I’d love to have a stealth bike for around the area.

Stripped front axle nut-help please

Thanks for sharing the experience. I’ve been removing that cap 5 or 6 times a year for 13 years or so (multiple bikes) and have never had an issue. I know that it doesn’t really hold anything so I’ve never given much thought in how tight it is. I will make sure I never over tighten it.
