RiggerDan day because yesterday was his Birthday or the day before. Not sure, I did hit my head in my crash. Dan showing the proper way to secure your load. Rigger living life on the edge Rigger being Rigger PMB and Dan arguing about the proper way to resurrect a dead bike. While the Governor keeps things civil It takes a special person to smile while changing a flat in the dirt in bad weather.

Well I’m just glad you were the only photographer present. Just think what could have happened if Curtis or Rigger were there to document the moment.

PMB, AKA Fakename, Paul or as he likes to known Bon vivant man about town photographer extraordinaire. I think Paul and I first met on a ride to Mexico where I showed up with a cheap walkie talkie with an ear plug. Paul took one look at my setup and asked for my helmet where he installed speakers and then put a push to talk on my handlebars and gave me a Yeasu radio. Not sure if I ever gave the setup back to him so don't mention it to him. Since then we have been on dozens of rides all over the western United States. Paul was also one of my 1st responders when I had my little crash last December. I can't tell you what it was like to wake up after the crash with Paul getting ready to do mouth to mouth. PMB and Bags at the 1st of Bagstr's retirement parties. Paul and I somewhere in either Oregon or Idaho. Paul saying look a bird! Paul gettin a tan. Paul and Dan still arguing. Paul actually camping Paul and I have ridden many a mile like this. I'll only ride at speed close to someone I trust not to do anything stupid. The Man! It's nice of them to let the old man sit. Photo by Curtis, also most of the others that I'm also in. This probably wasn't the 1st time Paul has come to my aid and it definitely wasn't the last. Paul and I giving Roger encouragement sort of. This was at the start of our IDBDR trip Paul checking for a cell signal so he can check on his stock portfolio. That little dot is Paul on the White Rim Trail in Utah. Paul doesn't like to be cold. Paul telling his bike what he thinks of it laying down on the job. The bike soon repaid the sentiment by blowing up about 10 minutes later Roger to the rescue. Paul found some guy with a bike on a trailer and upgraded on the spot to a KLR. Me helping Paul with a flat in Death Valley Paul and Rigger have a special kind of relationship. Paul always likes to help out the local fauna. Somewhere in Mexico. Paul to the rescue again. This seems to be a trend. Paul and Bags have a special "friendship" also. All kidding aside it is a really great person that sneaks a couple of beers into your hospital room when you're stuck in there a few days.
  10. That third pic, now you’re just showing off.

This was also the day I lost my clutch far far from camp and had to ride some pretty tough single track sections with out a clutch. Also the day Bags bike gave up a couple miles from camp. Also the day we stopped in the middle of nowhere and had one of the best beers I’ve ever had. Just another day of great adventure.

Here he is the one and only Bagstr, AKA the Governor. Dave is one of the few people I know that never seems to lose his cool no matter what the situation. And I know that I've probably tried his patience more than once. Dave is always a stickler for keeping a tidy camp. Flying during a Crawdaddy ride, Oatman I think The passing of the baton Northern Nevada Northern Nevada again Just outside of ABDSP Dave showing us the proper technique of picking up a bike Always a snappy dresser Again with showing us how it's done I have no idea where Where were we? Ocotillo Wells The Crew, photo by PMB Off to Utah Utah This is one of my favorite pics of Dave. Rigger and I met Dave out in the middle of ABDSP for an overnighter. He may or may not have fallen out of his chair a few times this evening (alcohol might have been involved). Heading somewhere fun

Today we bring you Tracy! AKA Cosmo,TLKing etc. Tracy and I started riding together back in 2007 shortly before I retired and again we've covered thousands of miles together all over the western US and Baja. Tracy heading south out of San Felipe Over looking the Salton Sea Somewhere Just above the Diablo Drop off with the Kug and I don't remember and yours truly This was a great story, ask him about 4 guys in the front of a U-haul heading to the start of the UTBDR. Somewhere in Mexico I think. Tracy is a great cook and loves to make tacos for everyone. San Francisquito, Baja Cooking again Holding court in front of 400 guys in the desert

Today we have the Kug! I first met Ken back in 89 when I was his chase driver for the Baja 1000. Since then we’ve ridden at least 10,000 miles together on off rode adventures. If you’re ever fortunate enough to get invited on a Kug ride don’t miss it. I have hundreds of pics of the Kug from dozens of rides over the years.
