CHECKIN TO SEE IF ANYBODY IS GOING OR WANTS TO RIDE ON SAT? MAYBE BEAR VALLEY RD TO KERNAN OR BOULDER CREEK RD TO JULIAN OR NOBLE CANYON TO LAGUNA. I AM UP FOR IDEAS. I LIVE IN DESCANSO SO ANYWHERE SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM. MAYBE EVEN A RUN TO ANZA BORREGO.

I WILL BE AT THE FROSTY BURGER IN PINE VALLEY ON SAT ABOUT 9:00AM. I WILL WAIT A FEW MINUTES THEN I'M GONE. HOPE TO SEE SOMEONE THERE. JED WE LIVE SO CLOSE WE SHOULD RIDE MORE. I LIVE ON MANZANITA LN JUST DOWN THE ROAD FROM RAINTREE. I AM NOT AN EXPERT RIDER I JUST LIKE TO CRUISE, BUT IM GOOD FOR A LOT OF LOCAL RIDES. I DID COMPLETE DAY ONE OF THE 2009 DESERT DASH AND MADE IT BACK WELL BEFORE DARK. BUT DAY TWO ON PINYON MNT. WAS A ASS KICKER SO I COMPLETED HALF OF THE DAYS RIDE.

I attended my first dd last weekend and it was great. I cannot wait for next year! Thanks to everyone who let me tag along in there groups after my riding partner had a flat at the beginning of section 1 day 1!!! A special thanks to bruceh and the other Bruce for without them I might still be wandering around borrego springs by the dump road somewhere. I completed all of day 1 but slapped my ribs on the ground day two and cut it short after lunch (which was awesome!). I thought the event was well planned and organized. It was a big workout to ride my klx650 through all that sand. Good times.... Good times...
